Story
Nick was a very scared boy who went unclaimed at a high volume shelter in Houston. His Texas fosters said he looked like the most frightened little pup—unsure of the world and a bit wary of them. But within just a few hours, he began to blossom! Nick is 72 lbs and we think he’s around a year old. He’s derpy and we suspect he’s a Great Dane/Lab mix. Nick is a happy, affectionate boy who loves toys, naps, and—most of all—snuggles and forehead kisses. His tail never stops wagging; he’s truly the happiest pup. In just two short days, he learned to sit and shake, rides perfectly in the car (he just curls up and relaxes in the back), walks great on a leash right by your side, is fully potty trained (not one accident!), and does great in his kennel. Nick also loves playing fetch in the backyard—he could chase a ball for hours! Words can’t fully capture how sweet and gentle this boy is. He is also dog friendly and deserves the best from here on out so please apply for Nick! His sweet, sensitive self will continue to blossom in his forever home. Nick is in foster in Mead, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/nick You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Lollie is an absolute sweetheart who leads with love. She’s incredibly affectionate and has the cutest way of gently using her mouth to let you know what she wants—always soft, polite, and endearing. Lollie is a proud couch potato who enjoys her downtime and snuggles, but she’ll do best with continued engagement and gentle encouragement to keep her active and confident. She is fully potty trained, though like many dogs, she may need a few days of transition time in a new home to learn the routine and “ropes.” With consistency and positive reinforcement, she settles in beautifully. Lollie’s loving nature and calm presence make her a wonderful companion for someone ready to offer structure, patience, and lots of affection. Lollie is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Lollie is also tested with other dogs, children, and kennel trained. She is working on potty training in foster and is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting adoption events on Saturday, February 7 or 14. Instead, we are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applications February 2-15.* For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Meet your new life-of-the-party bestie 🎉🐾 This 1-year-old Anatolian mix is a giant baby in a 70 lb body and he is here to have a good time! Equal parts party animal and cuddle monster, he’s the kind of dog who will leap straight into your arms (yes, really) for affection and then flop dramatically for more love. Sweet doesn’t even begin to cover it. He adores other dogs and lives for playtime—running, wrestling, zooming, and making sure he’s right in the middle of all the action. He’ll happily wear himself out having fun and then settle in close, soaking up attention like the big love sponge he is. Because of his size and enthusiastic zest for life, he’s too large and exuberant for little kids, but he’d thrive with dog-savvy humans who appreciate a joyful, high-energy companion. Food? Obsessed. Treats? Yes please. Enrichment toys? Absolutely. And honestly, who doesn’t want peanut-butter kisses from a slobbery gentleman who gives 110% to everything he does?? He does have a prey drive, so he’s looking for a home without small animals. In return, he promises endless laughs, wholehearted love, and the kind of presence that makes every day feel a little more fun. If you’re ready for a big, goofy, affectionate dog who wants to be part of everything, this sweet party animal is ready to meet you. 🐶💛

Story
Sabrina is currently located at the EAC in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our EAC team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! At just 8 months old, Sabrina the (not-so-)Teenage Witch is an Anatolian Shepherd puppy with legs for days and a delightfully dorky saunter that looks like she’s still practicing her levitation spells. She’s all charm, zero coordination, and 100% lovable chaos. In playgroup, Sabrina absolutely shines — zooming around with her dog friends like she’s conjuring joy itself. She’s friendly, enthusiastic, and always ready to cast her favorite spell: Puppius Goofius Maximus (which mostly just results in her tripping over her own paws). Sabrina may not have a talking cat named Salem or a magic closet portal, but she does have a heart as big as her growing body and a talent for turning everyday moments into pure, silly magic. If you’re looking for a charmingly oversized pup who brings laughter, play, and a dash of witchy whimsy to your home, Sabrina is ready to enchant her way into your life!
