Story
Are you looking for a snuggle buddy? Thor is ready! Thor wandered up to a home in rural Bethany, Missouri at the end of February. They reached out for help. Thor was good with their dog but they didn’t let him in the house. The temperatures were below zero at night. The Bethany Pound only has 5 runs and they were all full so he could not go there. It took several weeks to find a foster home for him. When we reached out and had a foster home ready they had decided to keep him. On April 9th, Thor popped up again, miles from where he was the first time. His ear was cut and infected and he had many scratches and scabs all over his body. He was much thinner than he was in the first pictures. This time we had a foster home open and went running to get him. Thor is 3-4 years old and looks like a small Great Dane mix. He weighs 75 pounds and could still gain another 5 pounds. Thor is equal parts cuddle and play. He loves to be held and petted and doesn’t know he isn’t a lap dog. Thor loves to chase a ball and plays well with other dogs. He is very respectful of another dogs play style. Thor is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. He also had entropion surgery on his right eye. The lashes on his lower lid were scrapping his eyeball. This surgery corrected that. Thor is very well house trained and is kennel trained.
