We are fostering Maverick for a friend of a friend and he is such a good boy! Loves people, is VERY affectionate and likes to play. He’s house trained but has not been neutered. Recently used to breed a litter of purebred Great Danes. We haven’t had him long and won’t be able to keep him. Our dogs are not warming up to him which means we constantly have to monitor and make sure they are separated. We thought we would be a good fit for fostering him because we have land but he seems to prefer to be inside near people. He is a great pet, just not for our current situation.

4 1/2 year old Rocket is a big handsome Dane/Mastiff/Pittie mix who has previously lived with other dogs. He loves playing with his stuffy toys and curling up at the foot of the bed. Rocket is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and ready to go home with you! His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.

Elijah is a eight month old great Dane mix who brings smiles to everyone he meets. Him and his two brothers (Julian and Quinton) were strays of Gas city. When they first arrived they were afraid of their own shadow and now have blossomed into the silliest and goofiest boys. Elijah likes other dogs, but can be selective. He also loves kids of all ages as well, he can be a little shy when first meeting new people. It doesn`t take him long to open up especially when treats are involved. We believe he is housebroken and walks good on a leash. To say Elijah loves water is an understatement, he`s obsessed with the hose so much you can often catch him catching the water droplets as you spray him. He would be a great protector because when you first hear his bark its deep and intimidating. And then he comes over all butt wiggles and kisses once he realizes who you are. he loves playing tug a war with his brothers, stuffed animals don`t stand a chance. Elijah`s adoption fee is $100 which includes his neuter, up to date on shots, deworming, flea treatment, bath, nail trim, and a microchip.
