She’s incredibly smart and eager to connect with her people, making her a wonderful companion for someone ready to give her the love she deserves. Lily thrives on affection and enjoys being part of the action. Whether it’s learning new things or soaking up belly rubs, she’s happiest when she’s with her humans. She seems to prefer male dogs over female dogs, so a meet-and-greet will be required if you have other pups at home. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown, but she may do okay with proper introductions. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and loving best friend in a stunning Great Dane package, Lily might be your girl! Stella is a beautiful four-year-old girl with a loving heart and a playful spirit. This sweet soul came into rescue when her family had to move unexpectedly and couldn’t take her along. For a time, Stella lived alone with only brief visits for food and potty breaks, and she lost quite a bit of weight. She’s still working on gaining back her girlish figure, along with her confidence. Despite it all, Stella remains easygoing and affectionate and she love giving kisses to her favorite people! About Stella: * Recently spayed (she still needs a little more time to heal before she's ready for adoption) * Crate trained and potty trained * Rides fabulously in the car * When her fosters are away, she does wonderfully with access to a gated area in her foster home * Gets along nicely with her Great Dane foster sister (Stella appears to be more submissive than dominant) * Energetic and loves to be where the action is * Very aware of new or unfamiliar noises * Enjoys chasing bunnies and squirrels * Fast eater with a healthy appetite Stella can be a bit skittish at first, especially in new situations. Still, after just a few weeks in her foster home she has already grown more comfortable and confident. She will thrive with a patient family who can continue building her confidence and helping her feel secure. We’re not yet sure how she does with cats. Because she seems to enjoy chasing small critters, a home without cats may be best until more is known. Stella is truly a looker, and once she’s fully healed and ready for her fresh start, this sweetheart won’t be available for long. She deserves a home where she’ll never feel alone again — one filled with love, stability, and plenty of adventure.

Vader is a six-year-old gentleman with a calm spirit and movie-star good looks. He recently came into rescue after being surrendered when his previous owner was away from home too often to give him the time and care he deserved. Despite the changes in his life, Vader’s heart remains wide open. This soulful boy is working on gaining a few healthy pounds and getting back to his best self before he’s officially ready for adoption. He’s currently on a medical hold while he receives the veterinary care he missed in the past, but he’s well on his way to feeling great and starting his next chapter. Vader is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he’s with his people. He rides beautifully in the car and knows his basic commands. While he’s still polishing up his leash manners, he’s a smart boy who enjoys learning. He has never been crated and isn’t particularly interested in starting now — he much prefers lounging near his humans. With other dogs, Vader can show some dominant tendencies, but he’s friendly, playful, and eager to meet new canine friends. He does experience some anxiety when left alone, which is understandable after spending long, lonely days waiting for his family to return. He’ll also happily let you know if something exciting is happening outside — he’s not shy about using his voice to communicate. Vader is truly a gem — the perfect blend of maturity and lovable goofiness. Once he’s medically cleared, he’ll be ready to give his whole heart to a family who can give him the time, stability, and love he’s been waiting for.

Azul is a large, strong, high energy boy who is still learning boundaries, manners, and appropriate ways to channel his excitement. He would do best as the only pet in a home that can provide structure, consistency, and supervision. Azul was previously attacked by another dog and has been reactive since the incident. A home with a more flexible or open schedule would be ideal for him, as extended time alone can be difficult for him right now. He will need continued work on impulse control and appropriate outlets for his energy. He does not do well with kennel confinement and will require alternative containment and decompression methods as he continues building comfort and confidence as well. His neuter is pending at this time.
