Story
Meet Maci — a big, sweet girl with an even bigger heart. This affectionate pup wants nothing more than to be as close to her people as possible, and she’s famous for her enthusiastic “hugs” and happy jumps when she’s excited. Maci still has lots of puppy energy and a puppy brain, which means she’ll need continued training and guidance to help her shine. With structure, patience, and plenty of love, she’ll grow into an amazing, loyal companion. If you’re looking for a joyful, cuddly dog who will adore you with her whole heart, Maci is ready to meet you. 🐶💖 - Around 1.5 years old - Currently under 85lbs - Good with kids, cats and dogs - Adoption fee: $250 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.

Story
Azul is a large, strong, high energy boy who is still learning boundaries, manners, and appropriate ways to channel his excitement. He would do best as the only pet in a home that can provide structure, consistency, and supervision. Azul was previously attacked by another dog and has been reactive since the incident. A home with a more flexible or open schedule would be ideal for him, as extended time alone can be difficult for him right now. He will need continued work on impulse control and appropriate outlets for his energy. He does not do well with kennel confinement and will require alternative containment and decompression methods as he continues building comfort and confidence as well. His neuter is pending at this time.

Meet your future best friend, Pops 🐾✨ This puppy is a perfect bundle of energy, curiosity, and irresistible cuteness—but like all puppies, Pops is still learning how to be the best dog possible. Continued basic training will be needed, including leash skills, crate training, potty training, and everyday manners. With a growing body and a busy brain, puppies need structure, enrichment, and positive outlets for energy to prevent overstimulation, mouthiness, or the development of unwanted habits. A home committed to consistency, patience, and mental and physical exercise will help Pops grow into a confident, well-balanced adult dog. With the right foundation, the possibilities are endless! 💛🐶 -Around 2.5 months old -Currently under 15lbs -Good with kids, cats and dogs -Adoption fee: $400 This dog is currently housed at our shelter.
