Story
Wellington is the sweetest, most love filled boy I've ever met. His favorite thing is napping right next to the person he loves. He's very very talkative and always has so much to say. His favorite game is keepaway, he thinks he's brilliant at it. He needs a parent who will spend quality snuggle time with him, and someone who can address his training needs. As sweet as he is, he is dog reactive. He needs leash training when it comes to dogs, other than that hes a good walker. He needs someone experienced who has the resources to help him overcome his anxiety and get him better trained. He does have behavioral issues to work out, so someone with the ability to train him is absolutely necessary. He CAN live with dogs (he has majority of his life), but he needs slow, calm introductions. He can also live with cats and animals in tanks no problem. He refuses to go to the bathroom inside, so potty training will never be an issue. He can be left by himself, and your things will be untouched.

Story
Shedinja came to us from a kill shelter in Arkansas where she ended up by no fault of her own. This girl is sweet, but reserved. She is good with other dogs and kids and tested fine with cats. Her approx. birth date is 05/05/15 and she weighs 94# full grown. This girl was adopted out for 6 years and recently returned when her adopted became too ill to care for her. She has been vet. checked, spayed,  micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She was also heart worm negative. Her adoption donation is $100 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##1068591##

Name: Beatrice Breed Guess: Dane mix Age: 1 year old Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 60 pounds Shelter Temperament: Playful & Friendly Children: Unknown Cats: Yes Dogs: Meet and Greet Required Adoption fee: $300 Likes: Playing with toys Going for walks Playing outside The Animal Rescue Project (www.animalrescueproject.org) is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws. All dogs are also microchipped. Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
