Gunther is a big, lovable guy with an even bigger heart. He loves being around people and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. Whether he’s leaning in for pets or simply hanging out by your side, Gunther is happiest when he’s close to his people. Despite his size, Gunther has a gentle and easygoing nature. He walks nicely on leash, though he can get a bit enthusiastic and pull at times, he’s just excited to explore the world! He also enjoys a good chance to stretch his legs, and once he’s had some time to burn off energy, his calm side really shines through. Gunther is a big fan of treats and already knows how to sit! He’ll proudly show off his skills, especially if you’ve got a snack in hand. He responds well to guidance and would likely enjoy continuing to learn with his future family. Gunther can be reactive to other dogs, so he would do best as the only pet in the home while he continues to work on his confidence and skills. GD Grey Gulley was relinquished by no fault of his own. This is a nice boy who is good with other dogs & with people. He is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His birth date is 03/08/25 and he currently weighs 102#. This guy is wonderful but has no idea how big he is! He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is heart worm & tick born illness negative. His adoption donation is $800 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Shedinja came to us from a kill shelter in Arkansas where she ended up by no fault of her own. This girl is sweet, but reserved. She is good with other dogs and kids and tested fine with cats. Her approx. birth date is 05/05/15 and she weighs 94# full grown. This girl was adopted out for 6 years and recently returned when her adopted became too ill to care for her. She has been vet. checked, spayed,  micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She was also heart worm negative.Her adoption donation is $100 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. He also  had a dental, we had a nipple removed because it had gotten chapped from laying on surfaces and we had an old scar on his back reworked to make the skin lay down better. His adoption donation is $550 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. Story
Cooper is an 8 year old 1/2 American, 1/2 Euro Great Dane. He is great around children and kids, loves to play with cats(they don’t like to play with him because of his size) and is ok with other dogs as long as they’re properly introduced and you give him time to adjust. Cooper struggles with severe anxiety. He can be medicated, he did well on Prozac previously. Due to his anxiety, he cannot be in a crate and will be a couch potato all day as long as anything he can get into is put away. He needs a home where someone is always home and/or another dog is there that he can bond with. Cooper also needs a home where someone is VERY experienced with Danes and is willing to be patient with him. He’s not up to date on shots because the vet causes quite a bit of anxiety so given his age, he doesn’t usually leave the house much. I can get him up to dates on shots prior to rehoming. I have loved Cooper the whole 8 years I’ve had him but my life cannot fit his severe anxiety into it anymore.
