Story
Located in Edwardsburg MI. Frankie is a two year old Great Dane Boxer mix. He is friendly and smart. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are not able to give him the attention he needs. He is neutered and vaccinated. He is good with kids. I don’t believe he is good with small animals but we have not tried cats. He knows how to sit, shake, and wait for his food. Walks well on leash, does not pull. Steel kennel, toys, and food included as well. It is important to us he goes to a loving home. We are willing to meet within a reasonable distance.

Story
Name: Beatrice Breed Guess: Dane mix Age: 1 year old Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 60 pounds Shelter Temperament: Playful & Friendly Children: Unknown Cats: Yes Dogs: Meet and Greet Required Adoption fee: $300 Likes: Playing with toys Going for walks Playing outside The Animal Rescue Project (www.animalrescueproject.org) is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws. All dogs are also microchipped. Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.

Story
This bestest boy is Herman, a 14 month old Great Dane. Herman weighs approximately 90 pounds but could gain a few pounds. Herman is a sweet dog who does well around other people and animals. He gets a little nervous around new people but quickly warms up to you. He loves to snuggle with his foster sister and gets along great with kids. He loves to explore the backyard but make sure you have a fenced in yard because he can scale it if he becomes scared. Herman is non destructive, house broken, and crate trained. He’s neutered, up to date on all of his shots and microchipped. Herman is the perfect addition to any home! His adoption fee is $300.00. If you have questions about Herman not covered in this bio, please email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. To apply to adopt, visit our website at www.projecthoperescue.org.September 28, 2023, 3:19 pm

Story
Harlequin Harlene  came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky. This is a nice, friendly girl who is good with people & other dogs. She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 08/08/20 and she currently weighs 98#. She needs to gain substantial weight. She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is heart worm negative. She also had a gastopexy/stomach tack & a dental cleaning. Harlene's tail was amputated due to an old injury. It was for the best to make certain she had no pain associated with that. Her adoption donation is $600 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##1774352##
