You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Greatest female Dane Nyxie! Nyxie is a gorgeous 2-year-old Great Dane who believes life is meant to be lived BIG. And at 120 pounds, she is exceptionally qualified to demonstrate that philosophy. This sleek black beauty LOVES being the center of attention. Why merely enter a room when you can make an entrance? Why quietly exist when your humans could be admiring you? Nyxie is ready to be your best friend, loyal companion, and personal security detail, all wrapped up in one enormous, elegant package. Nyxie is also a full-blown Velcro girl. She believes that if her humans are in the house, she should be touching them. At all times. Sitting down? Nyxie is there. Watching TV? Nyxie is there. Going to bed? Nyxie has already claimed her spot. Bathroom break? Nyxie will chaperone. Privacy is apparently an outdated human concept. And then there is Nyxie’s very special talent...She is an ALARM CLOCK. â° Not one of those annoying little clocks that politely waits until morning. No, Nyxie believes the day should begin around 3:00 AM. Apparently, she has places to be and important events to prepare for. Her morning ritual is sacred. First: Wake the humans. Second: Potty. Third: Breakfast. Fourth: Begin the day with enthusiasm and absolutely no regard for what time normal people think morning should start. Nyxie is a ritual girl. She believes there is magic in doing things just so, and she hopes her humans will be equally enthusiastic about embracing the sacred traditions of the Nyxie Morning Routine. After all, why sleep until 6:30 when you could already be accomplishing things at 3:00 AM? Nyxie would also love another canine companion who is willing to share the humans and participate in her unique brand of Great Dane "horse play." She enjoys playing hard and having fun, so a playful, dog-friendly canine pal who appreciates her enthusiasm would be a wonderful addition to her forever home. Once the day is officially underway, Nyxie is ready to be your constant companion. She wants to be part of her humans' world and will happily keep you company while making sure everyone knows that the Great Dane has arrived. She is fully vetted, spayed, healthy as a horse, and, appropriately, approximately the size of one at 120 pounds. Nyxie is looking for humans who appreciate a big dog with an even bigger personality. Someone who wants a devoted companion, a four-legged best friend, a beautiful black shadow, and perhaps a very enthusiastic bathroom chaperone. She will be your friend. She will be your protector. She will be your oversized personal assistant. She will supervise your bathroom activities. She will introduce you to the concept of 3:00 AM breakfast. And she will absolutely expect to be touching you while doing all of it. Nyxie is ready for her forever family. Are you ready for 120 pounds of Great Dane love, loyalty, personality, Velcro behavior, and pre-dawn enthusiasm?
