Story
He was actually my father’s dog that I’ve been helping take care of since he became unable. He passed in January, I had stayed in the area to settle affairs and see if I could find another family member interested in keeping him or a way to take him and keep him myself but I am unable. He is very energetic and can be rambunctious with some separation anxiety but really is a good dog. Loves other dogs. Loves rides in the car. Walks well on an easy walk leash. Loves hikes. Listens well and doesn’t take off off leash. Will need a lot of patience and an experienced dog owner while he adjusts. He’s too big and unaware of his size for really small children but he is friendly with kids. Not sure about cats. Not fixed. Weighs 175 pounds ish. Fully house broken. Not charging a rehoming fee as my only priority is finding someone who will have the patience and ability to give him a good home. Please contact me if interested

LOCAL TN ADOPTION ONLY.Video here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1ZKqnaG9dD/Mr Scooby His life has been one of text book tragedy in my opinionWe’ve done our best to make his life comfortable in rescue but it is a life inside an intake facility.Five years of teaching him that it isn’t cool the crawl all over a human and try to kiss their face with an open mouth and over sized hugs. His love was so much that it was almost like an aggressive love me situation. Now i have concluded he is and has been reformed. He’s a happy gentleman with that calm Dane state of mind It makes me sad knowing he’s been in rescue for five years He is so loving and so eager to just have a chance at a normal life.If you are looking at a Dane for adoption you already should know how kind and gentle they are.LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY IN TN.The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Story
Meet Honey Boy, he is a double merle Catahoula/Great Dane mix without a mean bone in his body. He is a sweet, playful, affectionate 80 pound baby. He loves being outside, playing and exploring but is happiest when he cuddling, or curled at your feet. Honey Boy loves his toys, treats, car rides and naps in his crate. My husband read HB's bio and pointed out that I forgot to say that he is very playful. He likes playing with dogs and with people, chasing balls and toys, then he settles down to cuddle and lounge in the yard or on the porch near people. He also loves his evening walks. Honey Boy is leash, crate and house trained. He is the perfect family dog. Honey Boy can’t wait to meet you! Honey Boy is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.
