Timber is a stunning brindle mastiff/ Great Dane mix who absolutely adores people! He has a goofy personality to him that lights up the room. His foster says he likes everyone he meets and can’t get enough back scratches. He loves to run and play and would enjoy having a fenced in yard or a family that is active. Timber is great with children, he doesn’t know he’s a big boy so older children may be best for him. He thinks he’s a lap dog and will cuddle with as long as you want. Timber does prefer to be the only dog because he loves his people so much. Timber would be an amazing addition to your family and being nothing but love and laughter and sloppy kisses. LOCAL TN ADOPTION ONLY. The good.....He is kennel trained. Goes in very easily with treats. Will run right in if a treat is thrown in there. Will bark for a few minutes but settles. If he’s in a crate, in a room alone and he hears a lot of commotion, he will bark. If you’ve left and the house is quiet, he’s quiet. He’s great in the kennel if someone is in the same room with him though. He likes being with his people. He happily snoozes in an open kennel during the day if you’re working from home and the kennel is near your work area.Scooby is a goof! There’s not much he takes too seriously. Besides treats. Treats are serious business! He will do just about anything for a treat. Even stuff he really doesn’t want to do. But treats are life. He’s overall an easy dog that is sweet, happy, cuddly and isn’t overly energetic. He loves playing and is a bulldozer but he relaxes and naps a lot too. He doesn’t require mass amounts of exercise. He is more than happy to lounge around in bed and watch tv with his humans. The bad...He snores. It’s not quiet...He hates small dogs, if your neighbor has one he will make it his life"s mission to eradicate it. He is generally good on a leash until aforementioned small dog walks up, then he will happily chill with you while you recover from your rotator cuff repair. This gentle giant is the perfect mix of beauty, charm, and goofiness. She loves snuggling up with her favorite humans, wrapping herself in blankets, and going for car rides where she can take in all the sights. Eli has been with other dogs and can get along. However we feel maybe a home where she gets ALL the attention is best . And given her size and energy, we think she would do best in a home with Great Dane or large dog experience. While she’s friendly and social, she doesn’t always realize just how big she is, so she needs someone who understands the needs of a giant breed and can give her the love, structure, and attention she deserves. Sully is a tall, lanky, sweet fella who loves to play with other dogs. He has a great time at the dog park! He walks well on a leash and is good in the car, although he hasn't mastered the art of jumping into the car without help. He is housebroken and rings a bell to go out. He loves to be outside. A tall wooden fence would be best to allow him his outdoor time whenever he wants - he can climb a chain-link fence. Sully is crate-trained when the humans leave the house, but prefers to sleep on his dog bed near the humans or sometimes on their bed. He gets along with the 2 cats that he lives with. Sometimes he must be reminded to leave them alone which he will then do - never aggressive, just playful.
