Gaspacho is our 10 month old Great Dane pup. This big boy is 88 pounds (and still growing) So a strong handler, and consistent training is a must for this guy! This handsome fella was found roaming in someones backyard, and now finds himself at the shelter. Gaspacho tested well with other dogs, and may be able to go home with another canine friend. Gaspacho loves play time, but prefers his human to be involved. We feel this big boy will thrive in the right home with training and exposure to all the fun things like hikes, running, and anything outdoors-y. KIRA IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED!    Kira is a 14-week-old Great Dane/terrier mix. She is a happy, affectionate pup who enjoys playing with other dogs, cats, and children. Even at 25 pounds, Kira has a more submissive personality. She is an intelligent girl who is eager to please and learns quickly. Kira is working on her crate and leash training.   Kira is fully vetted including spay, microchip, and all as well as rabies shot. Her adoption fee of $500 includes the transport to CT. Big, beautiful Gail is still waiting on her forever family to find her. She's a young adult, around 2 years old, with the energy of a puppy and has no idea of her size (around 125 pounds). Gail is very sweet, loves to hang out with her foster parents, is very curious, eager to please and loves to play. She's good with other dogs, and is house and crate trained. Gail likes to chase cats so she will need a house without them. Because of her size and energy, a home with children over 12 would be the best fit. A fenced yard will be necessary unless you can prove you are able to properly satisfy her exercise needs in other ways. Gail needs someone who is willing to continue to work with her on basic manners, as she still pulls on the leash when she's excited and jumps up to play. Mental and physical exercise are a must for this gorgeous love-bug! Gail is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. Gail is fostered in GA and will be attending our Adoption Event at the Durham Fairgrounds. Save time, fill out an Application to be preapproved to adopt at our event. Preapproved adopters may schedule appointments to meet dogs on Friday, May 17th. Our pets are in CT, GA and PA foster homes. Dogs in PA may be able to come to CT prior to the event to meet adopters. Dogs in GA will arrive right before the event so you must come to the event to meet them. Fill out an online application to start the adoption process.
