Story
Albus is a handsome 2 year old male Great Dane mix who was brought to the HSOV on March 4, 2026 and, unfortunately, was not reclaimed by his owner. Albus has a snow white coat, long legs, a long tail, and a beautiful black-and-white face with Great Dane features. Albus may look familiar to many of our HSOV Facebook followers since he was in our shelter in the Fall of 2025 and was eventually reclaimed ... These photos of Albus were taken on September 19th when HSOV Kennel Tech Emma Dahlgren spent time with him outdoors and helped him with his best poses. Albus loved the opportunity to stretch his long legs and run a few laps around Emma. Albus even surprised us with some yoga poses (naturally he excelled in the 'downward dog' position) (smile). Albus weighed 57 lbs that day and was fairly strong on a leash. Albus knows basic commands (sit, shake, and easy). He is very treat motivated and has a sweet, outgoing personality. Albus is good with cats. Since he was not reclaimed, we will have Albus neutered and find him a great home. Albus could be fostered-to-adopt while he is awaiting his neuter procedure with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application.

Story
Sarabi is a GOOD GIRL! A gentle giant who has proven, beautiful temperament. Unique Merle with one blue eye and one half-blue/half-brown eye. She is incredibly obedient and has gone through two professional training programs. She has the perfect walk (on/off leash), amazing recall, and stays in a fenceless yard without straying. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and waits patiently for her food. A true "velcro dog". She is discerning and doesn't rush for pets. Instead, she is polite and can take a minute or two to bond, and once she warms up, she will be your shadow! She is a goofy, sensitive soul who loves to cuddle with adults and children alike. She is gentle with little ones and shares her toys and food perfectly. She is strong, active, and healthy. She has very mild strabismus (outward), which doesn't affect her vision—it just adds to her unique charm! Only rehoming due to severe anaphylactic allergy. She comes from a strong pedigree, well-bred bloodline, both parents AKC.
