🐾 Meet Clyde! 🐾 This large, handsome beast is Clyde, a full-blooded Great Dane just over a year old. He came to KVPP in a very malnourished state, but after months of TLC in his foster home, he’s healthy, happy, and ready for his forever home! Clyde is a sweet, loving boy who adores all people and wants to play with every dog he meets. He’s fully potty trained and would thrive in a home with a large, fenced yard and other large, playful dogs to help him practice manners. Important note: Clyde is deaf, so he will require a patient adopter with experience in deaf dogs or large breed dogs—no exceptions. Training commands takes a little longer, but he’s highly treat-motivated and has already made great progress. Clyde is a curious, clumsy, giant toddler who will explore anything in reach, especially food or drinks left out. His foster mom says he’s a lovable “giant toddler” you can’t leave unattended—but he gets away with everything because he’s so sweet! Clyde would not be suited for homes with small children or elderly adults, as he still doesn’t realize his size. Story
Oakley is a beautiful mixed Anatolian Shepard. She came to us from another rescue who was over capacity. Oakley is very sweet however very shy and a little scared so she really needs a patient adopter. Oakley is tall and skinny but she isn't to intimidatingly big. Oakley likes kids, people and other dogs however she does react if a dog gets to pushy. For this reason I would only recommend a home with older children who can understand her timid behavior. Due to her size I would not place her in a home with small dogs. If you are ready to help Oakley enjoy life outside rescue, please call us!
