Story
Currently located in: Tennessee Adoptable in: All continental 48 United States (transport is available anywhere!) Good with dog: No thanks! She is dog selective so she would do best as the only dog. Good with cats: No thanks! She is too big & playful for cats. Good with kids: Yes! Just keep in mind she can sometimes be unaware of how big she really is so she could knock a small child over accidentally. As always adult supervision is required. Crate trained: Yes! House trained: Yes! Meet Millie Mae – Your Goofy, Gorgeous Gentle Giant! 🐾 Millie Mae is a stunning ~3-year-old Great Dane with a heart as big as her paws. This sweet, smart, and delightfully goofy girl is ready to find her perfect forever home! Millie has never met a stranger—she absolutely adores people. Whether it’s snuggling in bed, handing out slobbery kisses, or politely taking treats (she’s incredibly gentle!), she’s happiest when she’s by your side. She already knows her manners and commands—and will gladly show them off, especially if treats are involved. Giving paw is her personal favorite! This leggy beauty is as playful as she is loving. She has a hilarious obsession with toys—especially honking pig toys—and will keep you entertained with her silly antics. True to her Great Dane nature, Millie has no idea just how big she is, so a large couch (and a sense of humor!) is highly recommended if you’d like to keep a seat for yourself. Millie Mae is: Dog selective and would do best as the only dog in the home Not a match for cats (she just wants to play… but doesn’t understand her size!) Great with kids, though her lack of spatial awareness means supervision is important Excellent with horses, where her natural herding instincts shine Crate trained and LOVES her crate—it’s her safe, happy place (a 54” crate will be required) Millie is a slim, elegant girl with legs for days, but she’s also a big personality who will thrive with a confident, dog-savvy adopter—ideally someone familiar with Great Danes—who can provide structure, guidance, and remind her that—despite her opinions (did we mention she's sassy and will her voice be heard)—she is not actually in charge. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining companion who will fill your home with love (and maybe take over your couch), Millie Mae might just be your perfect match. Millie Mae is an incredible dog who just needs the right home. She’s been waiting, and dogs like her—big, dog-selective, misunderstood goofballs—often get overlooked. But the right person will see what we see: a loyal, hilarious, loving best friend who will give you her whole heart (and probably take over your entire couch). If you think you are the right match for Millie Mae, please apply to adopt here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1doqwbKyo7ZFi9Wq2ss-et4DLqM7esQfvEUdXVZBnA98/viewform?edit_requested=true&pli=1 Her adoption fee is $650, this includes vetting, transport (we typically can get within 1-2 hours of most places) and our animals all go home with an adoption bag to help them transition to their new home! We will NEVER ask or accept funds until your pets are in your hands. Please beware of scams! All of our animals are fully vetted before going to their fur-ever homes. They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, up to date on flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and microchipped! Please Note: All animals are posted until they are officially adopted. This animal may have other interested adopters in line. We are very quick to respond and process applications! You will be required to provide 2 non-family personal references, a home video tour, and a vet reference if you’ve previously had animals. Please feel free to send a video to our email or Facebook upon submitting an application; this lets us know you are serious and ready but also helps us to get you approved quickly. We will text and or call upon receiving your application to schedule a phone interview. You must be an approved adopter to go on meet and greets. This saves everyone’s time- especially our gracious foster families! This also allows for you to take the animals home from the meet and greet if you so choose. Interested in fostering? We would love to have you join our family! Fill out the same application above- we have our fosters go through the same process as adopters! Questions? Please email whiskersfunds@gmail.com or message us on Facebook! Story
Meet your gentle giant: a three-year-old Great Dane–Mastiff mix with a striking black coat (with some white on his chest) and an even bigger heart. Built like a tank but soft as a marshmallow, he’s the perfect blend of strength and sweetness. Despite his impressive size, he’s a laid-back, affectionate boy who would rather lean against you for pets than show off his muscles. He’s loyal to his people, great at keeping a watchful eye on the home, and happiest when he’s close to his family—whether that’s lounging on the couch (yes, he thinks he’s lap-sized) or stretching out in the yard. At three years old, he’s past the wild puppy stage but still full of playful energy when the mood strikes. He enjoys a good romp, a sturdy chew toy, and plenty of attention. With his soulful eyes and calm demeanor, he wins over everyone he meets. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a big presence and an even bigger personality, this handsome boy is ready to fill your home with love. If you are intereseted in learning more about Atlas please fill out the adoption application found on our MARC website www.marc4change.org Atlas' adoption fee is $300.00

Story
Roo is a 2–3 year old Blue Merle Great Dane adult who weighs 85 pounds and was found abandoned by a well-known lake in Tennessee.  Someone rescued her from this terrible fate of no food or clean water and no place to be as she was wandering around the lake area very skinny and starved.  She was so grateful when someone took her home.  She then had different people foster her only for a few days at a time until this wonderful family saw her plight and need and said.....let us take her and foster her with a good rescue group.  Now this big girl named Roo has some stability in her life and has earned the nickname “Velcro dog.”  Of course this lost and abandoned girl who was deserted by a lake and then bounced a few times, wants to be right by your side and soak up every ounce of love and attention you’re willing to give her.  She will learn one day that noone is ever going to abandon her again.  This athletic girl has plenty of energy, loves to play with a happy spirit and and is an impressive olympic class jumper. She will thrive best in an active home.  Food definitely motivates her and this makes it super easy to train her and get her undivided attention. Roo is house-trained, crate-trained, cat-friendly, and absolutely loves to snuggle in the bed with her humans.    Roo bonds quickly and becomes very protective of her people so we will have tips on how to temper that zealous enthusiasm to claim you. She needs a family where she can be the queen of the castle and receive endless love and attention in return. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by you through everything, Roo is your girl!       Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.  She is currently fostered in Tennessee and can be adopted locally and also can transport to a loving family that is northeast of Tennessee.  We transport almost weekly on the weekends.       ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
We got Auggie as a puppy in May 2025. She is very rambunctious and chews anything and everything she can get her mouth on. We love her, but we are moving across the country and cannot take her with us. I believe she might be pregnant, but not 100% sure. We have a doggie door that she is used to using and will bark to let you know she needs out if she is in her crate. She does like to jump on people but hasn't ever bitten anyone. Auggie can sit and shake (morning treat routine). She needs someone willing to give her a lot of attention and patience as she grows out of her puppy tendencies. Families with older children would be best, since she is very large and likes to jump.
