FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Briscoe! Briscoe is a 2.5-year-old, 70 lb Great Dane who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. From the moment she arrived, it was clear she is one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet! When Briscoe first came into our care, she was very underweight, but with proper nutrition and care she’s been steadily gaining weight and building strength—and she’s doing great! She’s a stunning harlequin Great Dane with beautiful gray, black, and white markings, big floppy ears, and one blue eye paired with one golden-brown eye that makes her truly unforgettable. Briscoe is goofy, playful, bouncy, and full of life! She has a good amount of spunky energy and is a strong girl, so she’ll need an adopter who is comfortable handling a large, powerful dog and committed to daily walks, continued muscle building, and ongoing socialization. She is crate trained and has been doing great as our lobby dog! Briscoe has done great with every dog she’s met—both big and small—and could thrive as an only dog or with a canine companion, as long as she continues to be well socialized. Briscoe is a happy, loving, larger-than-life pup who’s ready for a home that appreciates big dogs, big personalities, and plenty of fun. If you’re looking for a happy, goofy Great Dane to share your life with, Briscoe might be your girl! She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She has not been tested with cats or children. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
Lola is a sweet 16 month old Great Dansky. She is very social and loves kids (8 or older recommended). Her love is overflowing. She puts herself to bed and sleeps all night. She does not like being left alone. She rarely barks, but can be a little sassy (the husky in her). She would benefit from a family setting, not a single home.

Story
This cutie is Heath Bar. He is currently 5 months old. We think they may be a Great Dane/ Labrador*, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Heath Bar's playful personality here: https://youtu.be/uoTU2BUsXp8?si=X2dY6K-O8OTvgEPw Heath Bar is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Heath is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth, and we enjoy seeing their progress! We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test or $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions Access to multiple dog trainers in your area, along with $40 off of your first session of in person dog training through Rover Training 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Welcome Cheeto. He is a 6 month old Great Dane mix. He is 67 pounds right now and may be 80 pounds full grown. Cheeto is a great dog. He loves treats and will sit when asked to with a treat. He loves the lady kennel workers. He is timid which is common in this breed but he is very friendly and affectionate. He would be great with someone that knows and understands this wonderful breed. He was found on the streets of Texas and was taken in by a good Samaritan. He can go with children. We like them to 8 or older. He would love to be a companion for the right family. He will love being a house dog and he is energetic but not for too much time and he settles down nicely. If you have a fenced back yard, he can get enough exercise exploring it. He could also go on walks. He does pull some but he really wants to do what you are asking so consistency with him will work wonders. He is currently neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
If you’ve ever loved a big dog - a really big dog - you know the kind of presence they carry. Baloo is that dog. He is a companion that fills the room with his goofy charm and regal frame but it will he his silly, goofy side that will be what fills your heart. Take a look at his goofy goodness here then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/QoqhXxMkibI Baloo is as magnificent as they come -strong, handsome, and full of a quiet love. He is affectionate, playful, and loves to engage, but he is no lap dog. He understands his size and loves people who understand dogs his size. This boy needs structure, your confidence, and someone who can manage all 82 pounds of his enthusiasm when he’s excited. He has great basic leash skills and walks with purpose, and while it’s not common, he can still pull hard when he is eager to meet or greet. Because of that, Baloo is looking for a home with no small children and no physically limited handlers -not because he isn’t loving, but because he’s simply a whole lot of dog. He gets along well with other dogs who enjoy and can match his play style. He’s the “roughhousing in the yard” kind of guy -playful and physical, and so much fun to watch. When dogs are confident and enjoy that same type of play, he thrives. Baloo has made some wonderful dog friends who he plays beautifully with. You can see his big goofy grin and those paws in the air and know he is having a blast! The best part though is when he starts to get tired he will simply roll over mid-play and lay on the ground with his playmate to roll around in the grass. Baloo is eager to please, responsive to correction, and happiest when he has clear direction. He’s not suited for apartment living, no surprise right? This boy needs space, both physically and mentally. A home with a fenced yard and a confident, calm person will give Baloo the structure he needs to shine. Big heart, big presence- that’s Baloo. If you’re the kind of person who looks at a big dog and sees powerful potential and big fun, he is your perfect match! Ready to welcome Baloo home? Story
Meet Scooby. He is a sweet boy with a great disposition. He gets along with all dogs and is very playful. He loves to cuddle and he would climb into your lap if he could. He would do best with room to run and somebody to hang with. He was released by his first family to the Benton County Shelter. His second family didn't have a yard so he spent a lot of his time there in a kennel in the garage. His third family had an enclosed yard with a stacked wall as part of the enclosure. He was able to scale the wall and get out. He has great recall so when he did get out he would come when he was called. The neighbors were not friendly so they thought it best that he come here, I have 2 fenced acres with a 6' chain link fence and have had no problems with him getting out here. He is fun. sweet and loving and would make a great family member.
