Story
Hamlet is a beautiful and loving young great dane mix with an estimated birthdate of 08/01/2025. He weighs approximately 70lbs. He came to Murci's Mission from animal control after they were able to save his life by amputating a severely broken leg. We are so thankful that he's getting this second chance!  With Hamlet, there's no notes. He's been a perfect dog, easy going, non destructive, friendly to other animals and children, great in the car, and house trained. Anyone willing to commit the most basic level of training and structure could have a successful and wonderful life with this dog.  Hamlet must be kept lean for his entire life to empower the longevity of his joints since they will be working overtime.  Hamlet comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $300 and includes his leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and a complimentary consultation with a behaviorist to help both parties ace the new partnership.  To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  ##2765503##

Story
...Whittier was found as a stray by a member of the community at Highland Park in Pasco. He is now neutered and ready to go home today!Whittier currently weighs about 75 pounds. This handsome big guy is still settling into shelter life, and we`re continuing to learn more about his personality each day. So far, he`s shown himself to be a curious, polite boy who enjoys checking out what`s going on around him and is taking everything in stride as he adjusts to his new surroundings. As Whittier becomes more comfortable, we`re excited to see more of his unique personality shine through. If you`re looking for a large companion and don`t mind getting to know each other together, Whittier would love to meet you.Since Whittier was found as a stray, his history with other dogs or cats is unknown. Meet and greets are required with any dogs currently in the home prior to adoption.Whittier`s adoption fee is $50. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and treated for fleas, ticks, and worms. Our shelter operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Holds, deposits, and pre-adoptions are not allowed. Animals may transfer to other shelters or rescues at any time.Come meet Whittier and help us learn even more about this gentle giant!

Story
Weselton (also called Wes and Wesley) is a 2-year-old pure bred Great Dane from a breeder in Lakebay WA. He has lived on a 5-acre property and enjoys finding small critters like mice and rabbits. Is not afraid of coyotes at all, I think he believes they're fun dogs to play with. He is shy and scared of some people since he does not leave the property often. He loves pets and will jump like a rabbit when excited. Having experience with a giant breed is a must as he is around 150 lbs. now and zoomies are powerful! As a Great Dane does, he loves being on your lap, couch, just anywhere near you. Will follow you all over the place if you let him. He is house broken and has moderate recall. plays with other dogs and has experience with small children as well and is not food aggressive at all in that regard. He is trained with basic commands, but the leash is something he has not been able to master. This sweet boy just wants a best friend to snuggle with! The wicker chair is his bed :)

Story
Meet Roxy Reese! Roxy Reese is about 4 months old, and we believe she may be a Great Dane/Lab mix, though with rescue that's always our best guess. What we do know for sure is that this gorgeous girl has all the ingredients for becoming an absolutely incredible family dog. Roxy is the kind of puppy that people instantly fall in love with. She has a sleek, shiny black coat, adorable white markings on her chest, giant floppy ears that seem to have a mind of their own, and the biggest puppy paws you've ever seen. Add in her long, lanky legs and sweet puppy face, and she turns heads everywhere she goes. She's beautiful now, but she's only going to grow into an even more stunning dog. As gorgeous as she is, Roxy's personality is what truly steals hearts. Watch her video here to see her personality in action! https://youtu.be/s8CpqIHEtGg?si=ZpiPQ3wUwsu2S2Ix This girl is a lover through and through. If given the choice between almost anything else and cuddling with her people, she's choosing her people every time. Roxy absolutely melts into your arms when you hold her and will happily shower you with the sweetest puppy kisses. She has a way of looking at you that makes you feel like you're the most important person in the world. Her favorite place is wherever her humans are. Roxy is also incredibly smart and eager to learn. She's very treat motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for both her and her future family. She loves figuring things out, enjoys positive attention, and is already showing signs of being a puppy who will thrive with consistency and guidance. Like any puppy, she enjoys toys, exploring, and playtime, but she's not one of those puppies who is constantly on the go. Roxy has a wonderful balance of playful energy and affectionate snuggles. She can have fun with her toys, investigate something new, and then happily settle in beside you for cuddle time. Because she's still so young, Roxy will need a family committed to all the important parts of puppyhood, including socialization, training, routine, and structure. Every day is a learning experience, and helping her navigate the world with positive experiences will allow her to grow into the confident, well-rounded adult dog she's meant to be. What makes Roxy so special is how deeply she loves. She isn't just affectionate, she genuinely wants to connect with her people. She's the puppy who will greet you like you've been gone forever, even if you only stepped out for a minute. She's the puppy who wants to curl up next to you while you watch TV, follow you around the house, and remind you every single day how loved you are. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with giant floppy ears, long legs, a beautiful black coat, and an endless supply of kisses, Roxy Reese might just be your perfect match. Story
Two 5 year old males. One of them does not get along with my small frenchie. We also just don’t have the time or space they deserve. They don’t get a lot of attention because of how busy we are. They are the sweetest gentle giants. They love to cuddle and try to sit in your lap. I got Adonis when he was 8 weeks old and the Tantor when they were 2. They are brothers from the same litter. They love to play and run. They love toys especially ones they can tug a war with.
