Meet Zeus, our lovable Great Dane who is nearly 2 years old and still has that playful spirit of a big puppy! This goofy giant doesn’t quite realize just how big he is! Weighing around 130 pounds, Zeus can sometimes be a bit clumsy, knocking over anything in his path (especially when he really wants to say hello!) Zeus is also quite vocal; he loves to express himself with his happy barks or chatty howls or whining complaints, especially when he’s excited, wants your attention , has to do something he doesn’t want to (this is when the complaints start), or is playing with other dogs! His silly personality and expressive nature will keep you entertained and ensure you never have a dull moment. Zeus is good with cats as long as you’re ok having to frequently remind him that cats really don’t want to play with puppies that are 12x their size! He is good with other dogs as long as the other dog is ok with Zeus’s rough and tumble play style and that he is VERY vocal when he plays Zeus is a little much for small kids and small kids are a bit much for Zeus, he does ok with older kids, >12yo up. I live in a foster home with three other dogs and a teenager.✅House trained✅Crate trained✅People friendly✅Neutered✅Microchipped✅Current on shotsI’m a very affectionate dog & love to lean up against you & follow you around. I have free rein in my Foster‘s house though they do kennel me if no one is home. At night I sleep in a dog bed in a bedroom or on the couch. I love to be pet & go on walks. I walk well on a leash though I may pull a little if I see a squirrel so tell me no. I’m really enjoying this white stuff called snow in Wisconsin. I love having the zoomies in the yard & running with the other dogs. I know my name & come. I’m just learning how to be a dog though. When you call me to come inside I hesitate by the door & need to be told again I am WELCOME to come inside as I just can’t believe I’m able to be in a house with my people!I need slow introductions to other dogs one pup at a time. Also I need time to warm up to each dog differently though I do come around.I’m a good boy as I DO NOT chew on things. I’m just starting to learn about these things called toys & balls. I’m still not sure about them. Though I do like this VERY large ball that makes sounds when my foster mom rolls it.I would do best with a patient & experienced dog owner/family who will work with me on commands, provide me daily walks & give me lots of pets! Hi, my name is Gotham. I am an 8-week-old Great Dane mix looking for my own family. I come from a breeder that was sort of shut down and thankfully my foster was able to take me in. I have had a blast here with all sorts of doggy friends and even the kitties are my friends (well for the most part, lol). I love to race around and play and play and then I am all about the snuggle time, yes, no shame in my game whose ever arms/laps are open I will cuddle in close. I am learning all about my crate (not a big fan) but I do settle in if I have to :). I try to follow the big dogs and learn all about pottying outside, but I am still a baby, so it is still a work in progress. I came into rescue with some ringworm on my back feet and tail, but foster mom made sure it was gone asap, just has to have my fur regrow is all now. Venus is an adorable, Great Dane mix who weighs about 109 lbs. She can be a little shy and timid at first, but once you give her a few treats, she is sweet and affectionate. She knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, `paw`, `leave-it`, `watch` and more! She is potty-trained and crate trained. She is considered a medium energy dog, who is food motivated and very bright because she is picking up training fast! She would do best in a house without other pets. She is a sensitive girl who is working hard on her dog reactivity training during walks! She is a good dog who will stare into your eyes lovingly and give little kisses. She is also a good office companion while her foster mom works from home!
