Story
Meet Zeus, our lovable Great Dane who is nearly 2 years old and still has that playful spirit of a big puppy! This goofy giant doesn’t quite realize just how big he is! Weighing around 130 pounds, Zeus can sometimes be a bit clumsy, knocking over anything in his path (especially when he really wants to say hello!) Zeus is also quite vocal; he loves to express himself with his happy barks or chatty howls or whining complaints, especially when he’s excited, wants your attention , has to do something he doesn’t want to (this is when the complaints start), or is playing with other dogs! His silly personality and expressive nature will keep you entertained and ensure you never have a dull moment. Zeus is good with cats as long as you’re ok having to frequently remind him that cats really don’t want to play with puppies that are 12x their size! He is good with other dogs as long as the other dog is ok with Zeus’s rough and tumble play style and that he is VERY vocal when he plays Zeus is a little much for small kids and small kids are a bit much for Zeus, he does ok with older kids, >12yo up. Zeus is a loyal companion who really just wants to be wherever you are! If you're ready to welcome a big-hearted boy into your life, apply below!! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SCGM/Dog

Story
Beautiful, friendly, gentle giant regal Raisin is a 2 yr old female Great Dane about 105 lbs. She lives in a foster home with 5 other dogs & a human teenager sister. She loves loves loves loves her humans & wants to be by them. She loves all types of doggie toys like squeaky toys, balls, nylabones & stuffies to carry around & cuddle until she decides to tear them apart. She walks well on a leash, absolutely enjoys car rides, & pets from her humans as she leans against you. She is super friendly with guests that come to the house, too. She knows how to sit, is crate trained, & house trained. She’s so well behaved she has free rein at night & when her foster parents are gone.Raisin enjoys having the zoomies outside, playing chase with other dogs, & wrestling with them. She plays nicely with other dogs. Though as a female if the younger dogs don’t settle down after playtime, she will give some deep loud barks letting them it’s time to rest. For such a regal girl she has a deep manly bark. She loves to sleep on a Jumbo dog bed next to her Foster’s bed. She will go to bed when they go to bed & sleep in until her fosters get up.Raisin would do best in a home where she’d get nice, relaxing walks & playtime to run around, a super comfy big doggie bed & lots of toys.DATCP#483538

Story
Venus is an adorable, Great Dane mix who weighs about 109 lbs. She can be a little shy and timid at first, but once you give her a few treats, she is sweet and affectionate. She knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, `paw`, `leave-it`, `watch` and more! She is potty-trained and crate trained. She is considered a medium energy dog, who is food motivated and very bright because she is picking up training fast! She would do best in a house without other pets. She is a sensitive girl who is working hard on her dog reactivity training during walks! She is a good dog who will stare into your eyes lovingly and give little kisses. She is also a good office companion while her foster mom works from home! Story
In a world filled with countless furry companions, there’s one special pup who is eagerly still waiting for her Fur-Ever Family. 🥹 Hi Biggie Paws 🐾 Friends ! We’d like to reintroduce you to Nala ! At approximately 6 months old and weighing around 30 pounds, this charming dog looks like a potential Great Dane mix that will surely steal your heart❣️With her playful spirit, affectionate nature and a few quirks that make her unique …she would be the perfect addition to any loving family. Located in Medford, WI she is ready to embark on a new adventure 🧐 with the right adopter(s). Here’s everything you need to know about this delightful girl and why she deserves a loving home. 🥰Nala is not just another dog, she is a bundle of joy with a personality that shines bright. ⭐️ Affectionate and cuddly, 🤗 she LOVES to be around people and thinks she is a lap dog 🤭 despite her growing size. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious and she thrives on human interaction. While she may be a little shy ☺️ at first, her friendly nature allows her to warm up quickly to new faces. Her vocal 🎶 personality adds a delightful touch, as she expresses her excitement ❤️ when meeting new people. This sweet girl 💕 has shown that she is friendly with kiddos and other dogs, 🐕 making her an awesome canine sibling. 😊 We have not seen her around cats, 🐈 but with her sweet nature believe she would also do well with them.Although still a work in progress, Nala has a good foundation in training. She is crate trained, potty trained 🚽💩 and has learned to use bells 🔔 to communicate her needs. She is also leash trained 🦮 and enjoys her walks, making her a great companion for outdoor adventures. 🥾 While she knows how to sit, continued training after adoption will help her develop into a well-mannered adult dog. Her eagerness to learn 🤓 and please her humans will make the training process enjoyable and rewarding for both her and her new family. ❤️Nala is up to date on all of her age appropriate shots, 💉 microchipped and has already been spayed. If interested in being considered to adopt Nala, please fill out an adoption application under the link below. Nala’s adoption fee is $500.www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

Story
Meet Nala! Age: Adult Weight: 85lbs Breed: Great Dane Good with: Dogs, cats and older kids House trained: Yes Crate trained: Not required Special needs: Hypertrophic Osteo Dystrophy, needs a home without stairs Nala is a sweet and loving pup who has been through some difficult physical challenges and is looking for a patient, compassionate forever home. Nala was confiscated by Animal Control due to neglect. She was born with Hypertrophic Osteo Dystrophy that went untreated. This rare condition affects bone growth in affected puppies that require steroids to treat painful flare ups and in Nala caused some deformation in her limbs and joints. Despite this condition, Nala is an incredibly gentle and loving dog. She has yet to meet a stranger and loves all the dogs and people she has met. Because of her size, it is recommended that she live with older children. She is housebroken and does not require a crate when left alone. Because of her condition, a home without stairs would be best for her. Nala is looking for a cuddle buddy as she is super snuggly and a Velcro pup in her foster home. Sadly, we do not know what the future holds for Nala due to her medical concerns. She is looking for and deserves a home where she can be cherished despite the challenges she faces. Nala radiates love and affection, are you the person who can share your heart and home with a pup in need? **Nala is fostered in Brookfield **Nala’s adoption fee is partially sponsored!! Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Story
She is fine with animals. However, she is a bully. She is extremely people picky and does not like to be approached, she prefers to make contact. She is extremely food driven in any type of training. She will get into any food possible, if left unattended. She’s still very hyper. Overall, she’s a really good dog and just needs the love. I don’t have time to give her right now.
