Story
I have had Blanca now for about three months. She was running wild at one of the ranches I work at. She was probably abandoned one and a half to two years prior to that and was scared of people so we couldn’t get close to her. She finally lost so much weight that she had to come near me to get food. I caught her and after about a day, she warmed right up to me. She must’ve been someone’s house dog that was abandoned. I’ve kept her in my house several nights and she’s not had one accident. She’s ridden in my truck several hours now and has not had an accident in there either. I don’t think she loves riding in the vehicle, but she tolerates it without any sickness or physical stress. My local vet helped me get her up to speed on her vaccines, rabies, fleas, the whole 9 yards. She’s a really good dog that works well around my nieces and nephews and is super loving. She is actively shedding a bit, but my vet says she will get through that and come back normal.

Story
Hi there Buddy was found out in the country wandering the streets in Turlock Ca. He is believed to have been dumped as he was wandering the area for approx 2-3 weeks prior to being able to gain his trust on 5/23/26 by providing him with food and water. I was housing him at my residence in Turlock until 5/27/26 but could no longer keep him there as I rent and am not allowed to have large dogs on site I am temporarily housing him in Modesto at a friends condo. On 5/26/26 I had him scanned at a local Vet for a microchip and he did not have a chip in place. Buddy needs a large fenced in ranch that he can roam and protect as that is the breed of dog he is. He is friendly sweet loving and affectionate. He has not shown any food aggression during his time with me. On 5/31/26 I took him to the vet for basic wellness check. He was given Rabies and Parvo vaccines as well as Flea/tick and deworming medication and I had his nails cut. Please outreach if interested in adopting sweet Buddy.

Story
Daisy May is a dog that loves everything. Belly rubs? Loves. Sticks? Loves. Daisy May will drag branches around her yard and loves being the queen of the hill. She plays hide and seek, although she isn't great at the hiding part. She is a great dog for an experienced adopter who loves a little adventure and fun. Daisy May suffers from anxiety and is currently on medication for this. When Daisy May feels anxious, overwhelmed, or frustrated she gets very mouthy towards her handler. Daisy May responds well to anti-anxiety medication to help reduce this behavior, however any big transitions in her life (such as changing homes), tends to cause it to recur more frequently. Daisy May is currently seeing a veterinary behaviorist and we are hopeful to see continued improvements with treatment over time, however Daisy May is only appropriate at this time to go home to a very experienced adopter. Daisy May has a lot of energy that she needs worked out with walks, adventures, or playing with other dogs. She likes chasing, tug, and agility play. Daisy May does well with other dogs and cats with slow introductions. She's even met turtles. Daisy May is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and chipped. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training. If you're interested in meeting Daisy May, fill out an application and a volunteer will reach out. www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application
