Story
We homed this sweet 11-month old girl for a little while in order to help out some family with the goal to help find her a proper long-term home. We want her to have a better home and life than we will be able to provide in the future. The ideal scenario for her would have property, lots of outdoor time, perhaps other dogs or farm animals, but most importantly loving caretakers. She is very loving, a great watchdog, and not aggressive at all. Super smart, learns anything quickly. Playful and athletic, but also lazy at night. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is moving from puppy into adolescent but is already quite well behaved and I know she will continue to grow into a wonderful dog. Maybe you or someone you know would be a good fit.

Story
Molly is a healthy 4-year-and-4 month-old spayed female Great Pyrenees who weighs about 94 pounds and is up to date on all vaccinations. She is a gentle, loyal companion with the calm confidence and protective nature typical of her breed. Molly follows most instructions well and has a sweet, patient personality that makes her great with both cats and children. Molly will do best in a loving home with plenty of space, as she has primarily been an outdoor dog since she was 2 years old. With her fluffy white coat, affectionate spirit, and devoted nature, she is both a loving family friend and a dependable guardian.

Story
Rosalie "Rosie"'s Story ROSALIE — A HEART THAT NEVER LEFT HIS SIDE… NOW SHE NEEDS YOU. Hi… my name is Rosalie. Today is my birthday. For the past four years, I’ve been more than just a dog—I’ve been someone’s everything. When my person lost his wife, I stayed. I watched over him. I loved him. I helped carry him through the hardest days of his life. And now… I have to say goodbye. My person is very sick, and he can’t keep me anymore. So I’m coming back to rescue—not because I did anything wrong… but because life sometimes breaks even the strongest hearts. I’m a modern, confident, 9-year-old spayed female Great Pyrenees, and don’t let that number fool you—I still run like the wind and love to put on a show. I’ll make you laugh when you feel like crying, and if your heart is hurting… we can heal together. Once, the devil was overheard saying: “Oh crap… she’s awake.” (That’s because I take my job as a protector seriously.) 💛 What I’m looking for: A calm, adult-only home No other dogs (I want my person all to myself—that’s how I love) A rural or quiet suburban setting, like the life I’ve known Someone who understands loyalty… because that’s what I give, completely I love: Car rides 🚗 Walks by your side Being your shadow, your partner, your steady presence I don’t need chaos. I don’t need a crowd. I just need my person. I am strong… but I’ve been through a lot. Every now and then, I need someone to gently hold my face and remind me: “Everything is going to be alright.” My eyes have seen loss… but I still believe in love. Please don’t let me grieve alone. I have given my whole heart once before—and I will do it again for someone who truly sees me. I’m ready to go home… with someone who deserves me. Note: Great Pyrenees are considered a Giant Breed. The average weight can be 100lbs. or more. They bark, shed, and have a wanderlust, so secure fences are a must-have. They are NOT off-leash dogs and a Pyr off-leash is called a "dis'a'Pyr". Some Pyrs do well with other dogs and some don't because by the virtue of the breed traits they were bred to keep out intruders and can consider some dogs as intruders. While they make wonderful pets and family dogs, they aren't for everyone so be sure to understand and learn about the breed traits of this breed or any breed you might be considering.
