Story
MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogs Stella is approximately 7 months old Great Pyrenees Mix who sadly has been rehomed and tossed about leading to her being timid by nature.  She seeks comfort in kind people and understanding, welcoming animals.  She has been fostered with another Great Pyr and cats and does great with the kitties.       Stella just underwent expensive double FHO surgery on her rear legs 7/15/22. She requires a home with NO STAIRS, someone home a lot, pool (she must do pool therapy 2 xs a day) per our vet for the next month or two. Since she was on kennel rest at our vet's office for several weeks, she has lost muscle mass and we must do physical therapy to help her rebuild it and get her back legs strong again. She is a very, very timid dog and a flight risk. She needs a foster to adopt family to continue her journey in building trust. She is very gentle and sweet, just a scared, beautiful pup!     She needs a foster to adopt family to continue her journey in building trust.    **Understanding and calm ADULT ONLY household **Fully and securely fenced yard  **Calm dog to help build confidence **cats optional, but she does have an affection for them! **Plan to work with trainer       Stella is UTD on vaccines, Spayed and microchipped. Adoption Donation is $350     Applications for Stella can be submitted at maxxandme.org. Please consider if your home and yard are of a sufficient size for a dog of this magnitude and breed. We certainly will when making decisions on her placement.       **Please follow up with an email to maxxandmerescue@gmail.com to verify receipt of application. **     Maxx and Me is an all volunteer, all foster home rescue and does not have a shelter. Please allow at least 48 hours for applications to be processed (missing information may slow the process, so please take your time and be thoughtful in your answers). We place dogs based on best home for each dog and not in order of applications received. Email us at maxxandmerescue@gmail.com for updates and questions. PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING!   Meet Yukon Hi friends! I’m Yukon, a sweet, gentle Great Pyrenees girl looking for my forever home. If you’re searching for a loving shadow who just wants to be by your side… that’s me. I love giving hugs and cuddles, following you around, and just enjoying being with you. I’m happiest on cool mornings and evenings, exploring and guarding a yard. A home with a large fenced yard and a covered lanai would be perfect for me. I know I’m still learning commands like sit and lay down, but I’m very smart and eager to please. I would do best in a small family (1-3 people), ideally with someone retired or working from home. I love other big dog friends, but I’d do best in a home with no kids. Yukon is a very loving, friendly, and gentle dog – she’s ready to be your loyal companion. Adoption FEE: $600 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE:  www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. If you have additional questions, you may send an inquiry email to adopt@mercyfullprojects.org to be answered at our earliest convenience. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need. **Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We do not transport. **Review our website for more information.  DOG ADOPTION PROCESS: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MFP/Dog CAT ADOPTION PROCESS: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MFP/Cat

Story
Gracie is 3 and is a working dog that loves to be outside with the animals to watch. We are trying to find homes for our livestock guardian dogs as we are selling our farm and downsizing our property. She can be an inside dog too if trained. She needs someone that knows about Great Pyrenees and can give her a good size fenced yard to roam and not escape from. She’s really sweet and loves everyone but will protect her people /animals.

Story
There's a combination of reasons why I can not keep Cowboy. He was rehomed about two weeks ago and then literally was dropped back off in my yard yesterday. He needs a forever home with someone who can give him the attention he needs. He is extremely sweet and very playful. He is just physically too big for me handle. He's fixed and plays well with other dogs. He's easily excited and that is the ONLY reason I would not let small kids around him (because he is big and goofy), but he definitely does well with bigger kids. He love people and he just wants to play. He eats literally anything you put in front of him and makes a great guard dog. He is crate trained/ house trained. He is a big chewer, so the tougher the toys the better. I was not expecting him back, so i was definitely not prepared, so the sooner we can find him a home, the better.

Story
Meet Cowboy - Your Playful and Loyal Companion! This handsome fella is a Pit Bull and Great Pyrenees mix. He's approximately 2 years old, this large and in-charge boy is ready to lasso his way into your heart and home! Cowboy is extremely playful with a whole lot of energy to share. His current owners do NOT have cats, so we are UNAWARE of how he is with cats. Cowboy is crate trained and knows his basic commands like sit, stay, and even landown (most of the time). He walks decently on a leash, he can get a little excited and pull occasionally, so continued leash training would be beneficial. Ideally, Cowboy is looking for a loving family with a fenced-in yard where he can play to his heart's content. He would likely thrive with a family who can match his energy levels. His current family loves him dearly, but recognizes that their long work hours mean he's often alone, and they want him to have a home where he can receive the attention and activity he deserves.
