Story
Porter is a very sweet 4 year old Pyredoodle. He is a big boy but a gentle giant. He has a great protective bark but hasn’t met a stranger yet that hasn’t become an instant friend. He has been neutered and all shots up to date. He has been a great dog but unfortunately we just had a baby and she isnt doing well with the pet dander in the house and we had to make the decision to rehome and give him an opportunity to be around a loving family who can give him the attention he deserves. He cleans up well in the summer. We have let him grow out for the winter as he loves to trot and play in the snow.

My name’s Stryker, and I’m a big, lovable Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix looking for my forever home! I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I give the best hugs—big, fluffy, full-body snuggles that will make all your worries disappear. I promise, if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, I’m your guy! I get along with most dogs, but I like to take my time getting to know them first—just to make sure we’ll be good friends. As for cats? Well… that’s still a mystery! No one’s really tested that yet. I’d love a home where I can stretch out, go on adventures, and, most importantly, be with my favorite humans. I have a lot of love to give, and I’m just waiting for the right person (or family) to share it with. So, what do you say? Could we be a perfect match? Come meet me and see for yourself—I’ll be waiting with open paws!To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. The only thing is is I work 10 hours a day and he seems like he needs land and someone who has time to take care him Hey, super sweet cuddly and he loves my niece which is two years old. Very sweet & friendly, snuggly, good with calmer dogs, potty trained. Good with respectful kids 8+ just because of her large size. Cats unknown. She is definitely chunky & needs to lose some weight for a happier, healthier future. She walks nicely on a leash & is a very happy girl!If you have any questions or are interested in fostering please email animalbehavior@kokomohumane.org. You can submit our adoption application on our website. The adoption fee is $150 which includes the spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, & goodie bag to go home.
