Story
My name’s Stryker, and I’m a big, lovable Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix looking for my forever home! I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I give the best hugs—big, fluffy, full-body snuggles that will make all your worries disappear. I promise, if you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, I’m your guy! I get along with most dogs, but I like to take my time getting to know them first—just to make sure we’ll be good friends. As for cats? Well… that’s still a mystery! No one’s really tested that yet. I’d love a home where I can stretch out, go on adventures, and, most importantly, be with my favorite humans. I have a lot of love to give, and I’m just waiting for the right person (or family) to share it with. So, what do you say? Could we be a perfect match? Come meet me and see for yourself—I’ll be waiting with open paws!To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Hi! My name is Agnus. I came in with Abigal. I am very sweet and lovable. I just crave attention. I do well on leash and enjoy being outdoors. I love running the yard and sniffing all the new places. I can be selective with other dogs so a meet and greet is a must. I do well with kids. I do not know about cats yet. I just want a loving home to enjoy life.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. Story
Joey and Katie came to the Sanctuary together and have always been together. Joey takes all of his cues from her. He is a timid boy which takes some time to get to know. Once he loves you he will follow you anywhere, as long as Katie does too. After working with him a couple of months we are able to walk him with the pack of dogs at the Sanctuary but he still needs vigilant supervision with them. He is good with Katie but doesn't seem to know how to interact with the others and can become agitated with them. Joey and Katie seem to have had little socialization outside of their own yard. A positive reinforcement trainer would be great to have on hand when adopting them. They do need adopted as a set currently. We were hoping to work on Joeys socialization skills enough that they could be separated but it hasn't worked out as so. Katie would do fine but we fear Joey would fall apart. They are both large teddy bear dogs and would do well in a large fenced area. They like to come in but as long as they don't get too hot or wet they like hanging out outside. If your interested in adopting Joey and Katie it will take multiple visits before they are comfortable with you enough to go home. To adopt them please go to www.libertyacresunited.com and submit your application. Their adoption fee together is $150. For more information you can call or text 765-969-4782 For more information on the animals available for adoption and more information on the Sanctuary please visit us a www.libertyacresunited.com and don't forget to follow us on Facebook

Story
Sophie is about 4 years old. We adopted her in March of 2022 and have loved having her with us. She is a good dog- very playful, loveable, and loyal. Even though she is 75 pounds, she is gentle around people once she knows them. She will jump when she is excited to see someone but quickly quiets down. We had every intention of loving Sophie for the rest of her life but health challenges and advancing age issues have cropped up since we adopted her and it is apparent we need to find a new home for her. Ideally, she would be in a home that allows her to run and play. She has had a large yard with an invisible fence since we adopted her, but she respects the fence and has not tried to go beyond it. She is also very good on a leash and loves to go for walks.
