Story
Thor is looking for a new FUR-ever home 🦮❤️ Please be advised: The unforeseen death of "his person" (main caretaker) has led Thor's family to the very hard decision, to rehome him. Unfortunately, his needs exceed what they can provide him at this time. Thor needs an experienced/devoted home or reputable rescue. He is a beautiful, 5-year-old, neutered Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix. He weighs around 120 lbs. Thor is a very loyal companion once he knows and trusts you. He is house-trained, pad-trained, and kennel-trained (although he isn't a fan of being kenneled). Unfortunately, he has had no socialization or training early in in life, so naturally he is wary and reactive to strangers. His ideal home would be a calm and devoted home, where he can build trust and truly succeed.

Story
MarshMellow is a sweetheart, she has a very gentle and loving nature, although she is a guardian dog so she has a protective nature, and she will bark if she feels there is a threat Pyrenees do use parking as their first line of defense and can sometimes bark at a moving blade of grass. Pyrenees have three coats of fur so please be aware of this. She’s high maintenance., marshmellow has been raised indoors, so would not do well outside 100% of the time she has been inside 100% of the time with the exception of going outside to potty. We used to have a fenced in yard and she would love playtime outside in good weather for shorter times to play during the winter, but she cannot tolerate extreme temperatures as she has been raised indoors. As with many great Pyrenees marshmallow is prone to ear infections and can get allergies, but there are monthly medications for that. Marshmallow loves children and was raised in a daycare. MarshMellow, may do better as an only pet.

Story
- Loves to learn and has great focus - especially if you have treats - so would be a lot of fun to train - Enjoys spending time with dogs who have a similar play style- Smart sweet boy knows down, shake, sit and stayThis pet is considered to be in their senior years and may enjoy calmer activities and environments. They may also have medical or behavior needs related to their age. Click here for tips for making a comfortable life for senior pets. The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing a primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: White Weight: 73 Age: 8yrs 1mths 3wks
