Story
Found Rocky and his littermate Bo a little over a month ago. I’ve been having them stay with me, but I already have two big dogs in a very small house and a limited budget. He’s great around kids. I have a 14-year-old and 11-year-old and I have three cats, but I would not trust them solely alone with the cats. They had shock collars on when we found them, and it was clear that they were used as a tool to punish rather than train. They’re skittish around collars and leashes, but Rocky has finally walked on a leash Bo requires a harness. They are truly gentle giants, they love attention and snuggles. They sleep in bed with me and my two Golden Retriever’s and tend to get along just fine with them. I suggest an advanced owner to be sure they’re socialized and trained since they will be big dogs. Rocky is roughly 9 months old (dob 11-11-25) Please consider letting this boy steal your heart. Rocky is super sweet and loves on you with small nose nuzzles. He also knows a few basic commands.

Story
Are you looking for a laid-back companion who already knows doggie manners and is content to be by your side? Then look no further than this beautiful gal, Heidi! Heidi is an almost 11-year-old Great Pyrenees/Husky mix who weighs around 92 pounds. She is a sweet, quiet girl who is looking for a home that matches her energy level. Here are some great qualities Heidi brings to the table: 🩷House Trained 🩷Crate trained 🩷Walks well on a leash 🩷Good with older, respectful kids Heidi has a lower energy level but loves to chew on bones. Heidi would prefer to be an only dog or to live in a home with another low-energy dog who respects her space. She is dog selective and would need to meet any other dogs living in the home to ensure a proper match. While Heidi walks well on a leash, she prefers a fenced backyard to do her business. If you are interested in this golden girl👵, apply to meet her. Her adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Meet-and-greets can be set up with approved adopters. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕

Story
Refined. Gentle. Unforgettable. Graceful. ✨👑 Kira joins the ranks of history's most timeless icons, such as Grace Kelly, Princess Diana, and Audrey Hepburn. 🤍 A 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix weighing in at a delicate 50 pounds, Kira embodies effortless charm, composure, and warmth. 🌸 With a gentle demeanor and soulful eyes, she brings a soothing, serene presence. This sweet and loving lady is about as good as they come. She isn't high-energy but does like to play with the dogs in her foster home. Her best friend is a 20-pound Chihuahua mix. She knows to be gentle and is wonderful at matching her playmate's energy level. 🐕💕 Kira exudes calmness, and in true Pyrenean fashion, she does most things slowly. 🌿 She is content to play with toys, chew bones 🦴, or just lay outside surveying her surroundings. ☀️ She hasn’t been introduced to cats; however, the hero that saved her said she was around outdoor cats and showed little interest, so a proper introduction to cats would be necessary. 🐈 Miss Kira is housetrained, sleeps quietly in her crate for naps and at night, and knows to keep her kennel clean. 🏡 She is a dream on leash and enjoys some sniffing time. 🦮 We can’t say enough good things about this special girl. She would fit into any home and will show her love and kindness every day. Kira does well when meeting new people and adores them all, including the miniature types. 👶 She would even love to ride along on any errands or trips you have on your calendar. 🚗💨 Kira will come to you spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. 🩺 Her adoption fee is $175. 🏷️ Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. This classy lady is ready to go on some “dates,” so hurry before someone else takes her out forever. 💌🐾 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕
