Hello, I'm Murphy! I'm a loving, loyal, gentlemen. I'm a 7 year old Great Pyrenees. I am a little iffy about new people but once I get warmed up to you I'll be your best friend. I loving just hanging out and laying on the couch with my favorite people and my squeaky toy. I'm also up for any kind of adventure that you have played like hiking or simply just going to the park. I would like nothing more than to find a new family that will give me all the love and care that I need but I do need my space sometimes. If you are looking for a old, loyal companion than Murphy is for you! Murphy is porched trained and fully vetted. Murphy's adoption fee is $150. We are a shelter committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission.

Hartsville, TN - Moses - Hartsville, TN - Moses - 1 1/2 great Pyrenees, fully vetted/neutered. THIS SWEETEST MOST LOVING DOG EVER!!! Needs a home that will kiss him and tell him how wonderful and fluffy he is. He was babysitting 11 puppies and was the best MOMMA ever. :). We have video of him and photos. He is free to a loving home that will spoil him. He is great with cats, kids, dogs, everyone!!!! Moses has shown recently protective of his food bowl with other dogs... not humans. He is very submissive to humans. Also, Moses will not do well in an apartment or townhouse. He is a suburb/country dog that must live inside the home although, he loves his time outside in the sunshine esp with his new loving family.

Story
Grits and determination!! That is the saying, right? To get anywhere you must have grits and determination?? Grits are good for you, ask any Southern mama :) You guessed it, my name is Grits and I have a LOT of determination! I came from the pound with HORRIFIC injuries related to a multiple dog attack :( And boy I was in pain and had horrible infections and was so so skinny and just sad... But the rescue peeps fixed me up! It took several weeks of LOVE, good nutrition, wound care and "heart repair" to return my zest for life and to see the glimmer of hope in my eyes... Now I am all fixed up, healthy and happy and READY for you!! Don't ever let me be out on the streets again, fighting off other dogs to live. Give me your COUCH, an air conditioner and lots of love and treats and I will be yours FUREVER!!! And speaking of fur, well, you know I am a Great Pyrenees and we SHED great amounts, so you must love me more than my hair!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Meet Duke! Duke was a sad stray found wandering a rural neighborhood in the 105 degree weather of July... Duke had very little fur so was sunburned and so skinny he barely had strength to walk. But let us tell you, he recovered very quickly! He loves other dogs and has so much fuzzy hair, he is one handsome dude! And he is a little silly and happy and just ready for his furever home! We have to tell you, that he responds to "Princess Duke" more than Duke :) He is just a sweet sweet boy who thinks he is royalty, and he IS!! He wags his tail (ok, his whole body) is glad to see us and happy to play with other dogs- big and small :) He is the most loving dog you will ever meet. When he looks at you, you can see how grateful he is to be alive and loved... Duke is ready for the home he longed for while he was starved and uncared for, you must be the best family ever!! He deserves nothing less :D Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
