Story
Hello potential adopters — this is a very emotional decision for our family, as we love Lola deeply. She is a beautiful, healthy three-year-old Great Pyrenees with a gentle spirit and a big heart. Due to personal circumstances, we are no longer able to give her the space and lifestyle she truly deserves. Lola thrives in open environments where she can roam, explore, and feel purposeful, ideally a farm or a home with a large, secure fenced yard (an invisible fence will not work for her). Someone with experience with Great Pyrenees or working-breed dogs would be a wonderful match. Our priority is finding her a home filled with patience, love, and understanding. Please reach out only if you feel truly committed to welcoming Lola into your home and heart. Thank you!

Story
Jumping Jack Junior is a dog with a huge smile and the most handsome good looks ever.   He is a Golden/Great Pyr mix that is only one year old and weighs 61 pounds.  We are guessing his breed but he seems more Golden in size and then more Great Pyr in appearance.  This boy is joyous and couldn't be more of a free spirit and  with an inviting personality to come and play with him and let him love your family.  Junior found himself in a Texas shelter because his owner was evicted from her home.  The two small 15 pound dogs living there with Junior, also lost their home and are in the shelter.  Junior has been a great big brother to these small dogs and he is most certainly now willing and able to be a friend to other small dogs and animals if needed.  He has no aggression in his soul and he is NOT reactive to any new encounters with other dogs when on a leash.  He is passive and fun loving and adores meeting new people to become his friend.  He is leash trained and housebroken and just one of those gorgeous A+++ dogs that you really need to consider taking home if you like the bigger than life luxurious dogs.  He is a Jumping Jack Prince of a dog.... Junior promises to be one of your best decision when adopting a dog to be by your side for the next 15 years.  If you are interested please don't hesitate and contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We can adopt him to Tennessee residents and also can transport him to northeastern families.  Just mention when you live when inquiring and asking for an application.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 19, 2025, 1:16 pm

Story
Meet Darcy and Molly! A wise and wonderful bonded pair of eleven-year-old best friends currently living in Holland, MI, whose hearts are even bigger than their glorious fluff. Darcy, a gentle Great Pyrenees in elegant white, and Molly, a joyful black-and-white Border Collie mix, have spent their entire lives side by side, and they’re looking for a new loving home together, because some friendships are simply unbreakable! Darcy is the calm flame to Molly’s lively spark. She’s a soulful companion who excels at quiet snuggles, leisurely strolls, and providing comfort just by being near. Her nurturing presence offers a steady balance to Molly’s enthusiasm, making them the perfect yin and yang. Darcy has some arthritis and degenerative disc disease, but thanks to a thoughtful medication routine and gentle care, she’s doing well! She enjoys short outdoor walks, especially in the snow which both girls absolutely adore, and spends the rest of her time soaking up love and lounging with her people. Molly, on the other hand, is the spirited spark of the duo, always ready for a game of fetch or a joyful spin around the yard! Age may say “senior,” but Molly clearly missed that memo. She plays with the energy of a much younger pup and thrives on puzzles, playtime, and mental challenges. Her intelligence shines, and she’d love a pet parent who’s up for daily adventures and interactive fun. These girls are not only sweet with each other, they’re also incredibly tolerant and gentle with other animals. They’re currently living peacefully with both a 13-pound dog and a 90-pound pup, and with proper introductions, they could comfortably share their space again. They’ve shown polite curiosity toward chickens and have had no negative reactions around cats. Both girls are house-trained, up-to-date on vaccines, and enjoy daily brushing, a lovely way to bond with them and keep their beautiful coats healthy. They may need a home without stairs due to Darcy’s mobility needs, and stormy weather can make them a bit anxious, but their loving, devoted personalities far outweigh these little quirks. Ready to bring double the love, loyalty, and fluffy snuggles into your life? Could Darcy and Molly be the heartwarming duo your family’s been waiting for? If you’re interested in providing Darcy and Molly with a loving home, please email meetme@joyfulpets.com for more information about adopting them! Please note that Darcy and Molly are currently in foster care through one of our trusted rescue partners and will remain in their foster home until the right match is found.
