Story
MEET SOLACE Allow me to introduce you to… Solace. Her name means comfort. Peace. Shelter for the heart. Which is fitting—because that’s exactly what she needed when we found her. Solace was abandoned. No leash. No goodbye. No explanation. Just a beautiful Great Pyrenees left behind like she didn’t matter. But look at her now. Still soft. Still trusting. Still standing tall like she doesn’t know how to stop being good—even after humans failed her. She didn’t come out angry. She came out gentle. Some dogs get rescued and become loud about it. They bark their gratitude. They demand reassurance. Solace? She became quiet in that way that says: “I’m ready to belong… if you are.” She’s calm, soulful, and steady—the kind of dog who changes the energy of a room just by being in it. The kind who leans in softly and makes everything feel okay again. Welcome to safety, sweet girl. Now all that’s missing… is home. Solace is ready to find her forever family. If your heart has room for comfort, peace, and unconditional love—she may be waiting for you. Adoption Fee: $250 Currently located in Fosters, AL and can be transported North to an adopter for an additional $200. Interested in adopting? Story
Hey my name is Atlas and I’m a huge chunk of love. One of my greatest qualities is that I’m very in tune with my handler and listen to corrections super duper well. Atlas is a cool, calm and collected girl. She is lower energy, which makes her 90lbs much easier to handle! She loves people and enjoys getting pet and loved on. Atlas did well with other dogs during her temperament test but definitely prefers male dogs over other females. She will also let a dog know when she needs her space, so she would be best with another dog who is not overly pushy. Atlas is a gorgeous Great Pyrenees mix, approximately 1.5 years old. She has been in boarding while getting ready for her new family so she may need some extra help learning how to be in a home environment, but we think she is worth it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby, you also receive many other additional perks such as a 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.), a free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus incredibly low pricing for future sessions, 50% off of your first BarkBox order, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our FB Adopter group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journeys through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge.

Story
Meet Lily — the sweetest mama with a heart full of love. This brave mama raised 12 precious puppies all on her own before we rescued her — and now she deserves a loving home where she’s the star. Lily’s gentle, affectionate, and just a little shy at first — but once she realizes she’s safe, she warms up fast. She’s good with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and her calm, loving presence makes her a wonderful companion. She’s crate trained and potty trained, and she’s steadily learning leash manners and basic obedience. If you think Lily might be the one for you, you can apply for adoption here : https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NASD/Dog Let’s give this sweet mama the forever home she’s been longing for.

Story
Meet Maggie, a bright, affectionate, and eager-to-please young rescue dog who is ready to find her forever family. Just over a year old and weighing 65 pounds, Maggie is the perfect blend of youthful energy and eager intelligence. From the moment she arrived in her foster home, she impressed everyone with how quickly she learns. She already knows commands like sit, off, and leave it, and she loves showing off her skills for praise or treats. Maggie is also wonderfully adaptable. She took to using the doggie door within minutes, proving just how sharp and intuitive she is. Whether she’s exploring the yard, relaxing inside, or settling into her crate for rest time, Maggie handles transitions with ease and appreciates having predictable routines she can rely on. Social and gentle, Maggie gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play and interact with. She thrives in an environment where she can continue learning, bonding, and picking up new commands—training with her is not only easy but genuinely enjoyable thanks to how quickly she understands what’s being asked of her. Maggie does experience anxiety when left alone in the house, so she needs to be crated for her safety and comfort when unsupervised. She also becomes anxious during car rides, so at this time she is available only within Texas to avoid long transports that could overwhelm her. Maggie is a loving, intelligent companion who will blossom with a patient, committed family. She’s ready to bring joy, devotion, and her sweet spirit to a home that understands her needs and celebrates her wonderful strengths. Maggie is currently being fostered in a loving home in Seguin, TX, where she’s gaining confidence and practicing her manners every day. She can scale a short fence so a 6 foot fence or higher is recommended. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
