Story
Hello potential adopters — this is a very emotional decision for our family, as we love Lola deeply. She is a beautiful, healthy three-year-old Great Pyrenees with a gentle spirit and a big heart. Due to personal circumstances, we are no longer able to give her the space and lifestyle she truly deserves. Lola thrives in open environments where she can roam, explore, and feel purposeful, ideally a farm or a home with a large, secure fenced yard (an invisible fence will not work for her). Someone with experience with Great Pyrenees or working-breed dogs would be a wonderful match. Our priority is finding her a home filled with patience, love, and understanding. Please reach out only if you feel truly committed to welcoming Lola into your home and heart. Thank you!

Story
MEET SNOW! *deaf *Snow is a sweet fluffy lady who came all the way from the sunny Deep South. Now in New England she can truly get to experience her namesake frosty weather! While she`s been with us, we discovered that Snow is deaf. She is super curious and is always ready to play, but will sometimes get overly excited and may want to jump up on people. Snow loves to play with other dogs and would do very well with an active and social canine companion at home. Snow knows some sign language commands and will benefit from a person who is committed to learning how to train a deaf dog. Snow is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Snow or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Story
Meet Harry, a precious 8-week-old (as of December 14) Great Pyrenees mix (mom is full Great Pyr) who is already winning hearts everywhere he goes. With his soft short coat and soulful puppy eyes, this sweet boy is a bit of a mystery mix—but one thing is certain: he’s going to grow into a large, beautiful dog with an even more beautiful heart. Harry is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of joyful puppy energy. He loves tumbling around with toys, playing, and then curling up for snuggles when it’s time to rest. One of his most endearing traits is how thoughtful he is—sometimes he’ll simply sit and watch his foster mom, as if he’s carefully studying the world and learning how to be the very best companion. Goofy, curious, and endlessly lovable, Harry has that special spark that makes you smile without even trying. He’s the kind of puppy who brings warmth and happiness into every room he enters. If you’re ready for puppy kisses, playful zoomies, and a lifetime of unconditional love, Harry might be the perfect match for your family. Story
Elton – A Gentle Giant in the Making   Elton is a handsome Great Pyrenees mix puppy born on October 18, and as of today (December 21), he is just over 9 weeks old and already 17 pounds. He’s growing fast, but his sweet, thoughtful personality is what truly stands out. This little guy is already doing so well with potty training. Elton can go 4–5 hours overnight without accidents and sweetly lets his foster know when he needs to go outside with a soft little whine. He’s the kind of puppy who watches, learns, and genuinely wants to do the right thing. Elton is a true snuggle lover, happiest when he’s curled up sleeping next to his people or tucked in beside his brother. When he’s awake, his adventurous side shines as he explores the house and backyard, carefully taking in the world around him. He’s playful and enjoys toys and wrestling with his brother, but he approaches new people, dogs, and situations with a gentle caution that only adds to his charm.  With an activity level around 4/10, Elton is an easygoing puppy who enjoys playtime but is just as content relaxing and soaking up love. He’s the kind of dog who feels like he belongs with you almost immediately.  Elton is looking for a family who will guide him as he grows into the loyal, gentle companion he’s meant to be—and who will love him as much as he loves being close.
