Story
Hello potential adopters — this is a very emotional decision for our family, as we love Lola deeply. She is a beautiful, healthy three-year-old Great Pyrenees with a gentle spirit and a big heart. Due to personal circumstances, we are no longer able to give her the space and lifestyle she truly deserves. Lola thrives in open environments where she can roam, explore, and feel purposeful, ideally a farm or a home with a large, secure fenced yard (an invisible fence will not work for her). Someone with experience with Great Pyrenees or working-breed dogs would be a wonderful match. Our priority is finding her a home filled with patience, love, and understanding. Please reach out only if you feel truly committed to welcoming Lola into your home and heart. Thank you!

Story
Meet Duckie! At roughly 11–12 weeks old, Duckie is softer than soft and as sweet as they come. He’s your classic puppy—playful, curious, and always ready for fun—so he’ll thrive in a home that can offer lots of stimulation, socialization, and playtime.Duckie came into rescue when his owners could no longer care for him. He arrived with what appeared to be bilateral eye abrasions, and unfortunately his right eye had ruptured and needed to be removed. His left eye, however, is doing wonderfully—he tracks toys, navigates like a champ, and currently just needs some eye drops. We’re not sure if that will be long-term, but at this time there’s no reason to believe it will be.His mom is a Great Pyrenees and his dad is some type of shepherd mix, and Duckie is the adorable result of their love story. We can’t promise what size he’ll grow into, but we’re guessing medium-ish.If you’re looking for a lovable little guy with a resilient spirit and the sweetest personality, don’t hesitate to apply for Duckie! He’s ready for his new beginning.Name: DuckieBreed: Great Pyrenees/ShepherdSex: MaleAge: 12 weeksWeight: 10.0Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. All vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter.Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained:  Not usuallyMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:   Coming to New England on 12/12!     Puppy Adoption Fee:  $600.00 (includes a spay/neuter surgery rebate to be paid to the adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England). We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicableATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONPaws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England. Story
Rosie is a lovable mix of sweet and stubborn — in the best, most charming way. She’s a professional couch potato who could happily spend an afternoon cuddled up with her person, but she also adores being outside soaking up the fresh air. She can be selective with dog friends, so slow introductions are best, but when she decides someone is “her people,” she’s loyal and gentle. Her heart? Huge. Her attitude? Hilariously stubborn. Rosie’s favorite treat in the whole world is any kind of bread — if it’s carb-y, she’s in. She’s cuddly, affectionate, and full of personality. If you’re looking for a sweet, stubborn girl who will keep you laughing and fill your home with love (and bread-motivated enthusiasm), Rosie might just be your perfect match.
