She was originally rescued as a stray alongside her litter of puppies, and while her past may be a mystery, it’s clear that life as a beloved household pet is still very new to her.Elle is nervous and unsure, and she needs a patient, gentle adopter who is willing to let her navigate new experiences at her own pace. She isn’t a dog who will immediately walk into a new home and know exactly what is expected of her. She’ll need kindness, consistency, gentle handling, and someone willing to help build her confidence as she learns that people, routines, and everyday household life can be safe.Her ideal home:• Patient, gentle and willing to give her time to adjust• No other dogs• No children recommended• Cats are unknown• A quieter, predictable home would likely suit her best* Fenced yardElle would greatly benefit from formal in-home training lessons with her new family. Wylie is an 1 to 2 year old, 67-lb Great Pyrenees mix who has been doing wonderfully in foster care with structure, routine, and clear communication.He has adjusted very well to a consistent daily routine and is proving to be a thoughtful, responsive young dog. Wylie has been introduced to a neutral female dog and does great with her — both dogs are polite, relaxed, and respectful of each other’s space.He is currently working through slow, structured introductions with other foster dogs. These introductions are done gradually with obedience incorporated into every interaction, and Wylie has been very receptive and eager to learn.Dog social skills:• Outdoors, through fencing, Wylie is friendly and playful. He often invites interaction with play bows and happy vocalizations.• Indoors, in neutral spaces, he remains calm, relaxed, and appropriately social, even when dogs are able to sniff through fencing.• He responds very well to high-value rewards and positive reinforcement during these interactions.In areas he considers more “his space” — such as his kennel area or the office — Wylie can show some context-based reactivity. This does not appear to be aggression. Instead, it’s consistent with territorial or barrier-related behavior that is likely learned over time rather than emotionally driven. This type of behavior is common and manageable with structure.His foster mom who is a dog trainer has already begun addressing this with clear boundaries, structured obedience, and consistent commands like “leave it” and “quiet,” paired with fair corrections and strong positive reinforcement. Wylie responds quickly and learns fast.Because of this, adopters should be aware that similar behaviors could surface during the typical three-month decompression period after adoption. With consistency, routine, and clear leadership, this behavior has proven very manageable.Overall:Wylie is a smart, responsive, and promising young dog who thrives with structure and clear communication. If you are looking for a beautiful, young Pyrenees mix, meet Clark. He is a sweet charmer with his beautiful white coat and big brown eyes. Clark will require a secure fenced yard, and breed experience is certainly a must. We do not know how he is with children and cats, but no chickens please. He has met some dogs at the shelter and appears to be fine. Story

We have had Jozie for about 3 years, and she is 4 years old. She is a mix of a number of different breeds, we know that she has German shepherd, Great Pyrenees, boxer, and husky. She has been an outdoor farm dog for that whole time. She is a great outdoor dog and listens well. She is smart and picks up on things easily. She is very personable and endearing. We have really loved having her as a farm dog. However, she is aggressive towards other dogs. She has attacked a neighbors dog (no injuries because people were there to break it up). For this reason we are looking to rehome her. She needs a place that is more rural than we are and is perhaps fenced in so that she wouldn’t come into contact with other dogs. She has never shown any aggression towards people.
