Story
Winston is 5 months old and will be a big floofy boy! Hi there, I'm Winston! I'm a young pup full of energy and love. I'm always ready for a game of fetch or a good cuddle. I'm curious about the world and love exploring new things. I can be a bit goofy and playful, which makes everyone around me laugh. I'm also smart and quick to learn new tricks. I had a collar that was embedded and had to be surgically removed. I am a little nervous with having anything around my neck still. I'm loyal and friendly, always ready to make new friends. Adopting me means gaining a funny, loyal, and energetic companion who will always be there for you! All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Duchess loves her toys!Introducing “The Duchess.” Duchess is a gorgeous old-soul Great Pyrenees mix with a high IQ and heart of gold. She is surprisingly “chill” for such a young dog, but when it’s time to play - be prepared! Duchess is house-trained and has learned her basic commands (very quickly) but she wants to be at eye-level, so she’s still learning OFF! The Duchess is eager to please and wants to learn so much more! Extremely affectionate when she is not on guard duty, and loves attention, but is not demanding. Her curiosity is amazing to observe - she must take inventory of everything and then computes her findings! She loves to sneak around quietly and chew on her stolen items or bury them immediately! Duchess needs a fenced in yard (physical fence only) and good A/C in the summer. She LOVES to be outside and does not bark more than the average good dog. One in a million find!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2024, 4:56 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Oaklee is a smart, sweet and gentle girl.  She loves pets and cuddles.  Oaklee enjoys spending time outside unleashed,  so she will need a physical fence where she will be safe following her Pyr instincts.  She prefers to be inside with her people the majority of the time.   As soon as she does her routine outside, she wants to be inside with the family.   She does not appreciate being left outside for extended periods of time by herself.  Oaklee is appropriate with kids, but due to her size any kids in the home should be at least 8 years old.  Oaklee is very calm inside, she does love our many daily walks, but once inside she likes to curl up on the nearest dog bed, or in her crate.  She would do best in a home with children at least 8 years old. She enjoys her canine foster siblings, but took her about a week to become used to them.   Oaklee has been spayed, micro-chipped and is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2024, 4:56 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi, I'm Lane. I am a three year old girl who has enough energy to power the entire state of NC. I've been at my foster mom's since I was 11 weeks old. I'm really good in my crate during the day while foster mom is at work. I sleep in my crate at night as well. I also express my opinion when I'm crated and something else is happening in the house. I have strong FOMO! I may not look it, but my foster mom.had my DNA tested and I am Great Pyrenees, along with some staffie and some pittie and cattle dog. These long legs like to run lots of zoomies around the yard. They also help me jump like a kangaroo. A high fence may be necessary to contain my excitement. I would do best in an active household, with no small kids and no small animals. I do have a strong herding instinct. My foster mom had a cat that I really like to put in my mouth. I don't think the cat appreciated it very much. But I find it a lot of fun. I don't have to be the only dog in the household, but the other dog should probably be my size or a little larger and most likely a male dog. I seem to get along best with them. No girl drama! I can also be very protective of my stuff - food and toys especially. I don't like sharing them with other dogs. I am also the BEST guard dog - maybe a little too good. I want to alert you that you just let a stranger in the house and I have to go into protector mode. I am still learning that not everyone is trying to sell us solar panels and I don't need to be so mean sounding to foster mom's guests. If you are a dog savvy family that is willing to work with training and help me become the best dog ever, please put in an application. I would love to find my forever home.
