Story
Nanook is just over a year old. She is great with all types of dogs, cats and kiddos. She is house trained and answers to commands. You will have to say her name first and then the command. She loves to be out side chewing on sticks. She will let you know when she needs to potty. She deserves someone who will love her and treat her amazing. We do not want to rehome her but have no other choice due to our living situation. She thinks that she is a lap dog from time to time but she is a teddy bear and the snuggles are great.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ronan is a gentle, goofy puppy still figuring out how to manage his long legs and big paws. He’s a sweetheart at his core, but he can be cautious with new people after spending his early puppyhood outdoors with very little human interaction. With patience and kindness, he blossoms — just as he has with his foster family. Ronan will need another confident dog in the home to help show him the ropes and reassure him that his people are safe. He adores his foster humans and canine siblings and will absolutely love his forever family once he’s had time to settle in. Because his mom is a Great Pyrenees, Ronan will need a securely fenced yard attached to the home so he can explore safely. Ronan is up&#226&#128&#145to&#226&#128&#145date on vaccines, will be microchipped before adoption, and will be neutered when age&#226&#128&#145appropriate. If you’re ready to help a tender&#226&#128&#145hearted pup grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be, Ronan may be the perfect match.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 7, 2026, 9:44 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi, I'm Lane. I am a four year old girl who has enough energy to power the entire state of NC. I've been at my foster mom's since I was 11 weeks old. I'm really good in my crate during the day while foster mom is at work. I sleep in my crate at night as well. I also express my opinion when I'm crated and something else is happening in the house. I have strong FOMO! I may not look it, but my foster mom.had my DNA tested and I am Great Pyrenees, along with some staffie and some pittie and cattle dog. These long legs like to run lots of zoomies around the yard. They also help me jump like a kangaroo. A high fence may be necessary to contain my excitement. I would do best in an active household, with no small kids and no small animals. I do have a strong herding instinct. My foster mom had a cat that I really like to put in my mouth. I don't think the cat appreciated it very much. But I find it a lot of fun. I don't have to be the only dog in the household, but the other dog should probably be my size or a little larger and most likely a male dog. I seem to get along best with them. No girl drama! I can also be very protective of my stuff - food and toys especially. I don't like sharing them with other dogs. I am also the BEST guard dog - maybe a little too good. I want to alert you that you just let a stranger in the house and I have to go into protector mode. I am still learning that not everyone is trying to sell us solar panels and I don't need to be so mean sounding to foster mom's guests. If you are a dog savvy family that is willing to work with training and help me become the best dog ever, please put in an application. I would love to find my forever home. You can apply to adopt me here: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 30, 2025, 9:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Update: We have DNA test results back on Cliff- he is a Great Pyr / Alaskan Malamute mix!   Meet Cliff the big white and tan dog, not to be confused with Clifford the big red dog but honestly they have so many similarities. First of all Cliff is a big boy. He is often not aware he is so big. He is however a sweet, lovable and goofy boy that is very loyal. Cliff wants to be where his people are. He has not met a person he doesn't like and because he is so big and handsome he stands out and the feelings are always mutual from ever person who has met him. Cliff has done wonderful meeting new dogs with the proper introductions. He does need work on his leash manners.  It is quite possible he has never been on a walk with a leash or harness prior to coming to our rescue.  On a walk Cliff is curious and wants to explore but needs to learn his human is in control when out on a walk. Cliff would love a nice fenced in back yard to romp around, patrol the perimeter, sniff the fresh air and soak up some sun in. Cliff will not turn down a treat which is good as it can assist with his further training because he loves praise and rewards. In his current foster home he is crate trained and has not had any accident in the house. Cliff deserves a home and furever family of his own maybe a fur sibling or a human kid even.  As we learn more about Cliff we will update his profile. If you'd like to meet him in person he will be at some of our upcoming events. You can also fill out an application and schedule a meet-n-greet.    ************************************************************************ The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the future spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All puppies have had a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Please go to https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/search? and search on the dog name to see more photos, browse the profile, and complete an application Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 5, 2025, 8:24 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application ›   Athena is a beautiful 1.5-year-old Great Pyrenees with the classic sweetness and loyalty the breed is known for. She absolutely loves people and thrives on human companionship—whether it’s getting affection, lounging nearby, or simply being part of the family. Athena does best as the only female dog in the home. She is comfortable around male dogs but is not a good match for homes with other female dogs. Because of her breed traits—independence, strong guarding instincts, and a need for confident guidance—she will do best with someone who has prior experience with Great Pyrenees or other livestock guardian breeds. She’d love a home that understands her need for gentle structure, regular exercise, and a secure yard where she can safely enjoy keeping watch. With the right adopter, Athena will be an incredibly loyal, devoted companion and a wonderful addition to a breed-savvy household. Athena’s Ideal Home: Experienced Great Pyrenees (or similar breed) owner No other female dogs Fine with male dogs People-loving, family-friendly environment Secure fencing recommended Athena is ready to find a confident, loving home where she can truly shine!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 9, 2025, 1:02 pm

Story
My husband and I got him back in 2017 as a puppy, and his temperament is the absolute best. He is easy going stays close by, loves children and is well behaved. We loved his easy going attitude towards anything. If you want to meet him don't hesitate. He is the best dog ever. We are having to rehome him due to moving and the next place isn't ideal for a dog his size and need him to find a loving home.
