Eva is a big dog with a big heart, she loves to please her human friends and is very loyal and smart. She loves any attention she can get and will be a great family member in a single dog home. Eva needs a loving family with no other dogs in the house where she feels at home. I have to rehome her because she no longer gets along with my other dog.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi, I'm Lane. I am a three year old girl who has enough energy to power the entire state of NC. I've been at my foster mom's since I was 11 weeks old. I'm really good in my crate during the day while foster mom is at work. I sleep in my crate at night as well. I also express my opinion when I'm crated and something else is happening in the house. I have strong FOMO! I may not look it, but my foster mom.had my DNA tested and I am Great Pyrenees, along with some staffie and some pittie and cattle dog. These long legs like to run lots of zoomies around the yard. They also help me jump like a kangaroo. A high fence may be necessary to contain my excitement. I would do best in an active household, with no small kids and no small animals. I do have a strong herding instinct. My foster mom had a cat that I really like to put in my mouth. I don't think the cat appreciated it very much. But I find it a lot of fun. I don't have to be the only dog in the household, but the other dog should probably be my size or a little larger and most likely a male dog. I seem to get along best with them. No girl drama! I can also be very protective of my stuff - food and toys especially. I don't like sharing them with other dogs. I am also the BEST guard dog - maybe a little too good. I want to alert you that you just let a stranger in the house and I have to go into protector mode. I am still learning that not everyone is trying to sell us solar panels and I don't need to be so mean sounding to foster mom's guests. If you are a dog savvy family that is willing to work with training and help me become the best dog ever, please put in an application. I would love to find my forever home. I am a goofball and I love sunbathing, getting belly rubs, swimming in ponds, playing tug, cuddling with my people, running around, watching the rain, and chasing squirrels. Everyone who meets me loves me!   I am crate, house, and leash trained. However, I am leash-reactive and should not be walked around other dogs or in a neighborhood. You should know that I am just tall enough to see what’s on your table and sneak a little snack off your plate if you look away! I am very smart but can be lazy. I know all basic commands plus some fun ones like catch, paw, hug, spin, and touch. I graduated from basic agility last year too!   After an amazing two years with my family, I became dog aggressive and the neighborhood setting with lots of other dogs that I live in is no longer suitable for me to live a happy life. Ms Bonnie is a beautiful GP, loving, playful, also a very good guard dog. She loves a belly rub! She is great with our small children, also older daughter with special needs. We have 2 other large dogs and a small breed and she plays well with them all. She is initially cautious but once introduced will play well with anyone. Bonnie is good inside the home but she likes to roam around at times. Very curious and loves to chase squirrel or birds outside. She also loves to play in water which often means the drinking water container. She is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. The reason for rehoming Ms Bonnie is due to owners severe medical issues and physically unable to keep up with pets and 3 small kids. It is painful decision but we are slowly downsizing our fur family. She definitely would do best with a large outdoor space to explore and run. She barks to entertain herself if she’s alone for long periods of time! Owner will agree to pay part of spaying fee.

I was taken in by young couple who gave me a home and medical care while they could, but they were expecting, and just couldn’t have children and a puppy at the same time. They were only keeping me to get me healthy and help me find a home. Lots of time has passed since then but I am still looking. They reached out to RUFF who has agreed to help me find the best forever family! My foster mom says that I am a very sweet boy that loves to snuggle and be right by your side. I am mostly outgoing and adventurous, but I can be a little skittish at random times. I love to protect my pack as I love to look out windows and bark at people walking by. I just like them to notice me and also remind my family that I’ve got their backs. Though I bark at those walking by, I am not aggressive by any means. I am a large baby who is an even larger lover. I really enjoy  playing outside and exploring, whether that be by myself or with you. I also like cats and other dogs and play well with them. Sometimes I don’t realize how big I am, so I would probably be best with a family that has older kids, or a confident owner who can help train me to be calmer around little kids. I really am a sweet and gentle with babies but I’m just not always careful about where I step if they're on the floor. All in all, I’m the perfect boy.
