Cloud | Male | 3 years old | Great Pyrenees Weight: Approx. 32kg Cloud is a stunning Great Pyrenees with a soft, fluffy double coat. True to his breed, also known as a Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Cloud has a gentle and cozy exterior with a strong and protective inner nature. He’s not just calm and friendly—his gentleness comes from a deep-rooted confidence, as he believes in protecting those around him. Cloud has a sweet, peaceful personality, but don’t let that fool you. Beneath his calm demeanor, he has a firm sense of responsibility and determination to protect his surroundings. Though he’s a bit shy, you’ll quickly sense his trust and strength. Cloud is a high-energy dog, so he would thrive in a home with a large yard. He loves being active, playing, and running around. Daily outdoor activity is essential to keep him happy and healthy. He’s playful and enjoys both eating and having fun, showcasing his cheerful and innocent side. Despite his past, where he was abandoned at a shelter, Cloud is quick to warm up to new people. While he hasn't had much basic training yet, Cloud is highly intelligent, and positive reinforcement, such as treats, helps him learn quickly. He may pull on the leash during walks out of curiosity, but he’s improving with practice and guidance. Cloud is also great with other dogs, including smaller ones. He’s big in size but still exhibits the endearing behaviors of a puppy, which make him even more lovable. Cloud would be best suited for someone who understands the Great Pyrenees breed or enjoys large dogs and is looking for a companion to enjoy daily outdoor activities with. If you're ready for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to provide training and structure, Cloud will be a lifelong friend, offering deep love and trust in return.

Gender: F Spayed/neutered: Spayed Age: 2 years old Reason for Intake: Stray How long have you had the dog: October 2025 Medical (shots etc.): UTD Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unsure Good with kids: Unsure but probably yes Good with strangers: Yes Guarding issues: Never seen her guard food or resources Ever bitten a person (Explain): No Ever bitten another animal (Explain): No Behavioral issues: None seen House trained: yes Crate trained: Kenneled Destructive: Not Seen Leash skills: ok but needs work Known commands: Sit Food on now: Kibble Medical issues. Had entropic eyes but they've had successful surgery; her bilateral patellas have been seen by an ortho vet and no surgery was required. Other Notes Personality etc.: Everyone who has met her has said she is a really nice dog and very deserving of a chance, this includes the 3 vet clinics, the kennel and another rescue who met her as well but could not take her due to capacity.December 6, 2025, 8:06 pm

Energy level: medium Can be handled/touched: Not initially, he takes some time to warm up to people. Ajax is extremely affectionate once he gets to know you. Barker: Just to alert us to visitors and before meal times. Flight Risk: No Food aggressive: With other dogs, yes. Familiar people, no. Walks on a leash: Yes Rides well in a car: Yes Destructive: No Needs a home with a yard: Yes Needs another dog: No, should be the only dog Can live in an apartment: No, would love a country setting he isn't a city dog Back Story: Dumped in a veterinary practice's parking lot in bad shape and found to have large bladder stones. NDR raised the money for his surgery and he has made a full recovery but will need to stay on special food to prevent any further medical issues with stones coming back. Hi nice to meet you Ajax here let me tell you just a little about me and I was told honesty is the best policy for me to find my human Soulmate! I will need a strong, confident handler that is willing to show me leadership and consistency , I'm a very sweet boy if your willing to give me the time I will need to adapt to my new home and surroundings. I love to go swimming (It's one of my favorite things) hiking or just being the Andy Griffith dog lounging on the front porch catching some rays!!!. My good friends Stephanie and Elizabeth love taking me out on adventures and tell me what a good boy I am (shhh I love those girls) but it took awhile to trust them but man I'm glad I did !! I'm told I'm a little difficult sometimes and that's why my friends are making sure I find the exact home that will let me shine. I may not be perfect but with the right person I know I will be amazing. So that's all I'm going to say about me I will let my other friends fill you in on the rest; all my friends at NDR just want to see me shine in my new beginning!! I hope to meet you soon and lets let life adventures begin!!!
