Introducing Nova: A Gentle Soul with a Happy Heart Waiting for Her Forever HomeMeet Nova, a beautiful one-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a quiet charm and a heart full of love. Nova is a bit shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet, happy-go-lucky personality shines through. She becomes playful, affectionate, and full of tail wags—making her a wonderful companion for someone willing to give her the time and patience she deserves.Nova is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with her people. She just needs someone to show her that the world is a safe place. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will blossom with care and kindness, Nova could be your perfect match.Dog-Friendly: Social and Positive with Other PupsNova has consistently shown positive, friendly interactions with other dogs while in our care. She enjoys their company and benefits from their social cues, which help her build confidence. Nova may do well in a home with another friendly, well-balanced dog who can help her feel secure and provide companionship.A meet-and-greet is required for any potential dog siblings to ensure compatibility and a smooth transition. With the right canine friend, Nova will thrive.Cat-Friendly (With a Proper, Gradual Introduction)Nova has passed her cat test, showing calm curiosity without signs of prey drive or reactivity. However, as with any dog, it’s important that she be introduced to resident cats slowly and carefully to set everyone up for success. Here’s what a slow introduction to cats looks like:Scent Swapping First: Start by keeping the cat and dog in separate rooms. Swap bedding or use a cloth to gently rub each animal and place it in the other’s space so they can get used to each other’s scent.Visual Introduction: Allow them to see each other through a baby gate or slightly open door while keeping interactions brief and calm.Leashed Greetings: Once they seem relaxed, bring Nova on a leash for short, supervised sessions. Reward calm behavior with treats and praise.Observe the Cat: The cat should always have an escape route or high space. Never force the cat to interact if they seem nervous or fearful.Take Your Time: This process may take days or even weeks depending on both animals’ comfort levels. Patience is key to building a peaceful, respectful relationship.Nova’s calm energy makes her a promising match for a d

Story
Quick Facts Name : Jake Age : 6 years old Sex : Male Neutered/spayed : Yes Breed : Great Pyrenees & Chowchow mix Color : Cream Weight : 23kg / 50lbs   Hello everyone! I am Jake. When I was younger, I got captured by the city employee and sent to Gwangju city shelter. There were just too many dogs like me, they city shelter had to put many dogs up on the list of euthanasia. My turn has come, and a warm-hearted rescuer heard this news! They decided to save me from this crisis, and provided me a second chance to meet my forever family.   My PersonalityI get along with other dogs and people. I love to rub myself to people, and I am okay to be lifted on the air. It does not matter if I have met you before? Who cares? I just love you! I like people more than other dog friends, so even though there are many of my friends, I will always prioritize you.    Social Skills Dogs : I can be a friend with any people and dogs! I just love everyone. Even though I have never met you! Cats : I have never lived with them, but aren't they usually respectful? Then, what would be the issue? Let's see how it goes! Kids : I have never lived with little humans, but I guess we can respect each other and grow up as good friends?   Energy and Activities I love the smell, sounds and warm sunlight outside. My energy level is just like many others. I like walking with people and everyone told me that I have excellent walking skills!  When we come back from outside, I would love to take some rest with you. It's the sweetest!   Training and Habits People used to say that my walking skill is excellent. I tried really hard! It may take some time to learn your speed, but I will catch up pretty quickly. Walking is the best!   My Ideal Home I don't really guard my food or toys from other people nor other dogs. I believe that it's a safe place to focus on myself! I don't like barking for no reason as well, too much false alarm isn't effective! The volunteers have provided me a kennel training. So I can have my own safe bubble. I like the idea, and I love it! I can do my business indoor and outdoor, but I would love to do it outside better. I think it's much clearner!    Special Notes People used to laugh at me because I behave quite funny and I have a big face! Do you agree? Well, I don't believe that I am big! I am a little bigger than others, isn't it? Even though my presence is big, I would love to be a lap dog just like these smaller dogs. I am dreaming of a day that I can share my big heart and warmth. ##2381502##

Story
Cloud is a stunning Great Pyrenees with a soft, fluffy double coat. True to his breed, also known as a Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Cloud has a gentle and cozy exterior with a strong and protective inner nature. He’s not just calm and friendly—his gentleness comes from a deep-rooted confidence, as he believes in protecting those around him. Cloud has a sweet, peaceful personality, but don’t let that fool you. Beneath his calm demeanor, he has a firm sense of responsibility and determination to protect his surroundings. Though he’s a bit shy, you’ll quickly sense his trust and strength. Cloud is a high-energy dog, so he would thrive in a home with a large yard. He loves being active, playing, and running around. Daily outdoor activity is essential to keep him happy and healthy. He’s playful and enjoys both eating and having fun, showcasing his cheerful and innocent side. Despite his past, where he was abandoned at a shelter, Cloud is quick to warm up to new people. While he hasn't had much basic training yet, Cloud is highly intelligent, and positive reinforcement, such as treats, helps him learn quickly. He may pull on the leash during walks out of curiosity, but he’s improving with practice and guidance. Cloud is also great with other dogs, including smaller ones. He’s big in size but still exhibits the endearing behaviors of a puppy, which make him even more lovable. Cloud would be best suited for someone who understands the Great Pyrenees breed or enjoys large dogs and is looking for a companion to enjoy daily outdoor activities with. If you're ready for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to provide training and structure, Cloud will be a lifelong friend, offering deep love and trust in return.
