✨ STILL AVAILABLE! ✨ Meet the handsome Thoreo (Thor + Oreo) 🐾 — a gentle, goofy boy still searching for his forever home! If you can’t adopt, please share to help him find his people ❤️ 📍 Location: Lexington, SC 🐾 Name: Thoreo 🎂 Age: ~1 year 🐕 Breed: Great Pyrenees – currently 65 lbs (he came to us severely underweight, which may have slightly stunted his growth). Appears purebred — double rear dewclaws ✅, GP-standard coat and eye color — though not DNA-confirmed. ♂️ Sex: Male 💉 Vetting: Neutered, microchipped, up to date on rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella; heartworm negative; current on flea & heartworm prevention; and dewormed. 👧🐶🐱 Good with: Dogs, cats, and kids — friendly with everyone but still has puppy energy, so supervision is best with very young children. He has not been tested around chickens or other livestock. ⚕️ Aggression or medical issues?: None 💖 He can come off intimidating at first because he’s a loud talker and will bark when meeting new animals — classic Pyrenees alerting behavior! But he’s never been reactive or aggressive. He was fully tested with a dominant alpha male who quickly had him submitting calmly, and there were no issues afterward. 🏡 House/crate trained?: Fully house trained. He’s never needed a crate — enjoys outdoor time in true Pyrenees fashion when unsupervised. 💛 Personality: Thoreo is an affectionate, well-mannered boy who loves people and attention. He’ll sit politely for brushing (his favorite activity — except his tail ✂️) and is very food-motivated… just not a fan of veggies 🥦🚫. Walks nicely on leash with only gentle pulls here and there. He was raised as a pet, not a livestock guardian, so he doesn’t show strong “working” instincts yet — but that could develop as he matures. He loves dog friends and would thrive in a home with another playful companion. 🌟 A secure fenced yard is required for his safety and happiness — Pyrenees love to explore! 📩 Message or comment if interested! Please include Thoreo’s name in your message, as I’m assisting with multiple rescues. 📝 Adoption application & contract required to ensure a loving, responsible home.

Update I originally had they were 11 years old. That was a mistake!!!! I rescued this dog a year ago. She is approximately 2 years old. She is very sweet. She has a sister as well. We love them but they are too much for us to handle. They like to roam and I constantly have to go find them. I have to keep them locked up all the time which is not fair at all. They need land to roam which I dont have. I have tried for over a year but it is not working out. They are very loving dogs. Love everybody. The other ones name is Star. I just had surgery and are not able to go find them all the time. They would be great for a farm. Please help me!

Story
I’ve had Maggie since she was a puppy, she has some anxiety but is a very lovable pup. Unfortunately she has been killing our chickens and with hopes to get more farm animals we cannot keep her. She gets along with boy dogs but does not get along with girl dogs. She’s scared of thunderstorms and fireworks and needs someone who will be patient and loving towards her. She’s turning 6 in November so as you can imagine this will be a tough transition for both us and her. Seeking a kind, loving, and patient home for our sweet girl.

Meet 🌟Ashe🌟: A Loyal Protector Seeking His Perfect Match! 🐾 Ashe is a 3-year-old neutered male Great Pyrenees – a true devoted guardian with that classic Pyr Strong™ heart. He’s incredibly loving and protective with his family (you can trust him completely), but true to his breed, he’s wary of strangers and territorial around his home – strong instincts that make him an excellent protector. He gets excited around chickens (needs a bit of focused training there) and shows some resource guarding, but with consistent, devoted guidance, these are easily workable – many Pyrs thrive with clear boundaries and positive reinforcement. Ashe would shine brightest as a single-dog companion in an experienced home with secure fencing, room to patrol, and owners who understand and appreciate the independent Majestic Pyr™ nature. If you’re ready to embrace the Pyr Mindset™ of commitment and training, Ashe will reward you with unwavering loyalty.
