Story
Goose was found as a stray when he was 2. My roommates adopted him last year but were unable to care for him so I have been trying my best to keep him out of a shelter. He loves adventures (car rides and long trails are his favorite), but he struggles with anxiety and between work and school I'm struggling to make time for him.I'm hoping to find Goose a home with someone who knows how to work with anxious animals. He doesn't seem to have been socialized as a puppy and struggles with meeting new people and animals. He is smart and eager to please, making training and desensitization very possible. But experience and/or willingness to learn how to work with him is a must.If you're able to give him your time, love, and effort, you will find a loyal, playful, and devoted companion in Goose.Goose's rehoming fee includes whatever remaining dog food I have, air-tight food storage containers, bowls, his toys, chews, water fountain, two beds, crate, harnesses, and leash.

Story
🐾 Meet Stitch! 🐾 Stitch is a handsome 1½-year-old, 66-pound boy with a gorgeous tiger-striped brindle coat! ❤️ He’s sweet, friendly, loves attention and treats, and already knows “sit.” He’s an energetic guy who would love an active family— he may be a little too much energy and size for small children. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (6 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines & heartworm preventative. 📍 Oak Ridge Animal Shelter 🕛 Tuesday–Saturday | 12:00 PM–6:00 PM 💻 Apply to adopt: oakridgetn.gov/ORASadopt
