MayLee would make a wonderful family companion, farm dog, or potential livestock guardian. She would do best in a home with at least an acre of space where she can run and explore. MayLee loves being around her people and enjoys playing fetch for exercise. She has a very sweet temperament and is happy to relax for much of the day as long as she gets time to run and stretch her legs. Right now, she spends most of her time outdoors, near the chickens in their coop/run, and sleeps in the laundry room at night. She knows basic commands. She does great with children and is a loyal, attentive companion. She is protective and playful. She currently chases off feral cats from the porch, but with proper introductions, she should be able to adjust to other animals. MayLee is looking for a loving home where she’ll have space to roam, a job to do, and people to spend time with

So you know about my namesake, right?? Well, I guess if you are not a Boomer, maybe not?? Mr Peabody was a dog, with special abilities.. he could talk, reason and even go to school. He got lonely and decided to adopt a boy to be his companion :) And his name was Sherman. They had all kinds of adventures but ALWAYS stuck together! That is what I am looking for now, too.... MY own COMPANION boy or girl! I am kind of a big lug, furry and cute and DEFINITELY the pick of the litter! I am like a big cuddle bug with lots of love and devotion to give you! Don't hesitate, Mr Peabody is your new bestest friend! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to you)
