Story
Rooster – 2 Month Old Great Pyrenees Mix Rooster is a 2 month old Great Pyrenees mix with a soft, fluffy coat and a playful, affectionate personality. His mom is a Great Pyrenees mix, and based on dogs seen in the area, we believe dad may be a pure Great Pyrenees. While that is not guaranteed, Rooster is expected to grow into a large, fluffy adult dog. Great Pyrenees are a livestock guardian breed known for being loyal, intelligent, and naturally protective. Rooster will likely develop these traits as he matures. Because of this, he will do best in a home that is familiar with or willing to learn about the needs of guardian breeds. At this age, Rooster is a typical young puppy who enjoys playing, being held, and exploring his surroundings. As he grows, he will need structure, consistent training, and an environment suited for a large breed dog. Rooster is: Neutered Microchipped Up to date on vaccines and preventions Adoption Fee: $250 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $550 Out of State Adoption (includes transport to your area) Rooster is looking for a home prepared for a large, loyal companion and ready to provide the guidance and care he will need as he grows.

Story
Arlo is a Pyr / McNab Shepherd mix and we expect he will be large sized when full grown. His DOB is 12/18/25. He is sweet, fun and active pup looking for a family to show him the ropes.  A physically fenced yard is required due to him being a puppy to keep him safe. Pyrs can be wanderers by nature and we want to make sure he is safely contained when outside. He is still young and will need to work on potty and leash training and would do best with children over 8 years old. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, preventions and microchipped.  He is outgoing and fun and does well with other dogs.  He is very sweet and loves to run and play with the other dogs. He has not been raised as a livestock dog, he is a pet, he loves the couch .. lol. If you think you are the right family or person for Arlo, please fill out our adoption application on our website at www.safehaventn.com .  We are happy to set up a meet and greet for the approved application.  His adoption fee is $300 (if being picked up in TN)  and he is being fostered in middle TN.  Please contact us for out of state adoption information.
