Story
Marshmallow is a young puppy looking for a family. She was found as a stray, so we don’t know her history, but she is a happy girl who always has a smile on her face. She loves to play with other dogs and especially loves ear scratches. A few key notes about our Rescue… 1. All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee. 2. No monies exchange hands until the pet has arrived 3. Once adopted, our pets can be transported to Denver, Colorado, the Midwest and all of the north eastern states. 4. We have a Facebook page and an Instagram page. You are welcome to visit to see some of our newly adoptive families. 5. We have been rescuing and transporting pets for 15 years. Transport is an additional $185

Story
Rehoming due to human health issues. Ranger is a suspected Great Pyr/German Shep mix. He was estimated to be between 8-10 weeks, 12lbs, on 04/20/2026 when he visited vet to get two shots, needs his other vaccines. Vet rec 18m old to fully mature before neuter. Currenrly roughly 5m old and probably in the mid 20lb range now. He looks like he's going to be mostly a pyr -body, strong, big body and legs, with a bit of shep to his face, shorter coat. More current photos he's less fluffy and more leggy. Provided a few of his puppy photos. Ranger seems very trainable, he learns quick, it's just that he needs someone willing to work with him as a puppy. He is not aggressive to dogs, cats, or kids but needs training to be so he does not accidentally hurt them. Goofy. He would be a great farm dog maybe if given the chance. He does like to cuddle if given opportunity. Potty training, he's familiar with pet pads, will mimic grown dogs outside. Familiar with crate at night

Story
Meet Nicko! 🐾 Nicko is an almost 2 year old, 88lb Anatolian Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a love for the great outdoors. This sweet boy is currently thriving in a foster home, where his foster family has gotten to know just what a wonderful companion he is. They’re helping him learn the skills he’ll need to be a fantastic addition to his forever family. Nicko is house-trained, knows several basic commands including sit, come, and stay, and is working hard on his leash manners and learning “down.” He’s a smart pup who enjoys learning and wants to please, though he does have a touch of that classic guardian-breed independence. He gets along well with both male and female dogs and has done well with teenagers. While his experience with younger children is unknown, his gentle temperament suggests he’d do best in a home where everyone understands and respects large dogs. Some of Nicko’s favorite things include: 🐾 Spending time outside—especially when it’s cool! 🌿 Rolling around in the grass 🚗 Car rides with the wind blowing through his fluffy coat 💦 Drinking from the garden hose 🥜 Licking the last bit of peanut butter off a spoon 🪟 Watching the world go by from the front window 🪮 Being brushed (it’s one of his favorite ways to relax!) ❤️ Snuggling—when he decides it’s cuddle time! Nicko also walks up a vehicle ramp with ease, tolerates baths without complaint, and isn’t bothered by thunderstorms. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily join you outdoors, keep you company around the house, and reward your patience with unwavering devotion, Nicko may be the perfect match. He’s smart, gentle, a little stubborn, wonderfully playful, and an absolute joy to have around. Because Nicko is in foster, please contact Blount County Animal Center to arrange a meet-and-greet. Once you meet him, you’ll quickly see why his foster family thinks he’s such a special boy.
