Story
Zelda spent her first 4 years on a farm with no other dogs, guarding chickens and goats. I was told she never lost one, so she is a great protector of things. Her owners never socialized her, probably thinking it would diminish her working skills. When the downsized, she had to find somewhere to go, and with no social skills, she went to a foster that will slowly work with dogs like her, where she has been since Fed 2025. She is docile and avoids people interaction but is very submissive when handled. She has never tried to bite. She loves other animals but doesn't play, unless it's another pyrenees. She wants in the house at night to sleep, for weather., and heat. She lives Milk bones. But wont take them from your hand, you have to throw them two feet in front of her. She likes being groomed but still have to corner her in her "safe space" for that. Just a beautiful girl, strong. Protective, silent type. She sleeps in the kitchen by the exterior door every night, her place of choice. Still wont sleep on a dog bed, just a cold hard floor. If an independent security dog is your wish, she is it. A fence with her is a must. Doesn't need a lot of a yard, but pyrs need defined boundaries or they will claim every house around. If you are interested in adopting Zelda please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. She is being fostered in Huntsville AL

Story
Yuki is a 2 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. If you are interested in adopting Yuki please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Story
Psyduck is a sweet, easygoing boy with a name inspired by the lovable Pokémon character—and yes, he’s just as quirky and endearing! He gets along well with most other dogs, especially females, and doesn’t pay much attention to cats (they’re just background characters in his world).Psyduck has a calm, playful vibe and a goofy side that makes everyone smile. He’s the kind of dog who’s happy to trot beside you on walks, lounge around at home, or share quiet moments together. He’s affectionate without being clingy and has great potential to fit into a variety of home environments. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and crate-trained. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a silly streak and a gentle heart, Psyduck might just be your perfect match.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Bo was rescued in December 2024 from a severely neglectful situation where he had been chained outside, matted, filthy, and forgotten. Tragically, he was also left outside to endure Hurricane Helene. His past has left him with some emotional sensitivities and he needs an experienced adopter who can offer him both structure and compassion. Bo is an incredibly sweet, loyal, and loving boy. Hes eager to please and learns quickly when motivated with treats and praise. Bo is a true Great Pyrenees: he would thrive in a home with space to roam, something to guard, and a role to fulfill. Hes not suited to being left alone on a farm; he wants to be inside with his people when he chooses and to feel safe, secure, and loved. Bos ideal home is one with: A secure yard or property where he can patrol and relax A family who understands large guardian breeds A calm, stable environment with a gentle hand and consistent routine Someone who can help him continue healing from past trauma
