Story
If you are searching for a great family pet who has the most soulful brown eyes, look no further! This gentle sweet girl is the answer and her name is Glory. Glory adores and worships kids and wants nothing more than to be near them. Her best days are spent running along side them, sitting under their chair and laying next to them as they play. She is mellow, laid back and loves being at home with her people. Glory is potty trained, knows “sit, wait, potty and go in” (come inside or go into a room). Currently, she does not use a crate, but would  revert to it easily. She sleeps in a small room with a gate simply propped at the door. A harness is used when walking her and she needs to improve on not reacting to other dogs. Not one to play with toys much ( unless taunted by another dog to tug), she loves bones, treats and kongs. At times, Glory may try to leave the house without permission. Glory has lived in a house (and yard) with a variety of visiting dogs and a “ sister”. She has no experience with cats and the barking of small dogs makes her nervous. She should not be homed with small animals. If you are looking for your new best buddy, you have found her and she’s waiting to go home with you! Glory is up to date on vaccines, h2 negative and spayed. Apply at forrescue.net

Story
Yuki is a 2 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. If you are interested in adopting Yuki please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Story
Winton is a purebred Great Pyrenees puppy, roughly 4 months old. He is super cuddly and loves attention! He is great with cats, dogs and kids. He is house trained and will let you know when he needs to potty. He knows how to sit, lay, stay and is very capable of learning more commands. We love this pup so much but our schedule does not give him the time he deserves, I want him to have a great life in a home with lots of cuddles. He loves to play tug of war and will play fetch, he is not super high energy he just likes the occasional short walk. He is a great dog and will make a great addition to a loving home!

Story
Psyduck is a sweet, easygoing boy with a name inspired by the lovable Pokémon character—and yes, he’s just as quirky and endearing! He gets along well with most other dogs, especially females, and doesn’t pay much attention to cats (they’re just background characters in his world).Psyduck has a calm, playful vibe and a goofy side that makes everyone smile. He’s the kind of dog who’s happy to trot beside you on walks, lounge around at home, or share quiet moments together. He’s affectionate without being clingy and has great potential to fit into a variety of home environments. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and crate-trained. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a silly streak and a gentle heart, Psyduck might just be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Lemonbar – A Sweet Soul Ready to BloomLemonbar is a shy but beautiful Great Pyrenees puppy with a heart that’s slowly learning to trust again. After being sadly dumped, she’s been taking brave steps each day toward feeling safe and loved. While still a little reserved with people, Lemonbar’s gentle nature shines through—and with patience, she’ll reward you with quiet loyalty and love. She absolutely adores other dogs and gains a lot of confidence from having furry friends around. She’s also very treat-motivated, which is helping her learn that humans can be kind and trustworthy. Because of her sensitive nature, Lemonbar would do best in a calm home with older children who understand how to give her the time and space she needs to feel secure. If you believe in second chances and have room in your heart for a pup who’s still finding her way, Lemonbar is waiting for you. With love and patience, this sweet girl will blossom.Puppies 6 months and under are typically $200 and dogs from 7 months to 6 years are typically $100.00. The adoption fee may be higher or lower than stated however, and is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, medical condition and demand. All dogs 7 years and older are free under our Saving Seniors program. Born January 1, 2024 Our Sadie is my daughter’s dog, who she promised she would take care of, and she hasn’t, and she’s leaving earlier for college than we initially thought, starting in a few weeks. Sadie loves to play with our pointer, who is a big lug, but she loves Rocky. Bernese Mountain Dogs are one of the best friends a person could have, especially for children.
