Size

Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Tilly was recently rescued after her previous family moved away and was unable to take her. She is a 2 year old Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix (or that’s what I’ve been told, no genetic testing). She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and healthy (except a case of happy tail that we are working with the vet on presently). She is a sweet little doofus who does not understand personal space. She is definitely a guard dog and loves to patrol and bark at potential threats. She has received some training, though it needs to be worked on for her to improve to the level where she can ultimately be. She’s very smart and listens pretty well. Does well around other dogs, but is not very engaged with play. I am unsure about cats or tiny humans. She does bark at new people and takes a minute to warm up, but then she shows her sweet and goofy side. She would be a great companion for the right person or family.

Story
NEW ENGLAND ADOPTER/FOSTER-TO-ADOPT/FOSTER NEEDED Polar is a one yr old, male Great Pyreness.  he weighs about 85 lbs.  Polar is house, leash and crate trained.  He is also good with other dogs and children.  He has not been around cats.  When he was found he had entropian eyelids and has had surgery to correct them and is now ready to find his furver home. This pet is currently in Texas If you are interested in adopting any of our dogs, please complete our online adoption application:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/31747/generic For more info, please email skylyrspassion@att.net OR visit our website: http://www.lifesaverssp.org/ We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then a home check. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $450.00 for adults and $550.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative, and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs’ temperaments to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! All dogs coming from the south have been quarantined for two weeks and fully vetted before traveling to New England! ##2175995##

Story
*Meet August – The Gentle Old Soul in a Puppy’s Body. August is a Great Pyrenees mix with a calm presence and a heart full of love. Found abandoned at our shelter with his 8 siblings, August may be young, but he carries himself with a peaceful wisdom that’s beyond his weeks. This mellow little guy is often the one napping in the sun or quietly observing while his siblings play. That’s not to say he doesn’t enjoy a good romp — but August is all about the chill life and meaningful moments. He’s the kind of pup who will grow into a loyal, thoughtful companion who always seems to know when you need a little comfort. With his soft coat, soulful eyes, and easygoing nature, August is looking for a forever home that values connection, calm energy, and gentle guidance. He’s expected to grow into a large, majestic dog and would love a home with room to roam — and people to love. August may have had a rough beginning, but he’s ready to write a whole new story with you. Come meet this special boy and see if your hearts align.*To make an appointment to meet August, please complete your application at this link: https://PetsFurPeople.org/pre-application/ Follow it up with a phone call. *Meet Kai – A Brave Little Soul with a Big Future Ahead. Kai is a Great Pyrenees mix with a tender heart and a quiet strength that shines through. Alongside his 8 siblings, Kai was abandoned at our shelter — but even at such a young age, he’s shown incredible resilience and a gentle spirit. Out of the bunch, Kai is one of the more thoughtful pups. He likes to take in the world around him, observe new people and places, and approach life at his own steady pace. But once he warms up, you’ll see a playful, affectionate pup who just wants to be by your side. With his soft coat and soulful eyes, Kai is destined to grow into a majestic, loyal companion. He’ll need a home that can give him plenty of love, space to grow, and continued socialization to help him become the confident, calm dog he’s meant to be. Kai is ready to leave his hard beginnings behind and start fresh with a family who sees just how special he is. One of 9 siblings abandoned at our shelter, Apollo has never let his rough start dim his bright spirit — he`s been ready to explore the world from day one! Out of the whole litter, Apollo is the bold trailblazer. He’s always the first to investigate a new toy, say hello to a visitor, or start a game with his brothers. He’s going to grow into a big, beautiful dog with the loyalty and protective nature Great Pyrenees are known for, so he`s looking for a family ready to give him plenty of exercise, guidance, and love.
