Story
Hello All!! Meet Tank! He is a litter mate to one of my other dogs huge mistake on our part. We honestly at the time didn’t know the conflict of what having litter mates especially 2 males. Tank is a very affectionate sweet dog. Jealous only around his brother. This is why we have sadly had to make the most difficult choice of re- homing :( price is negotiable. We just want to make sure he is going to someone who will love and care for him. We believe pets are like family and don’t take this decision lightly. When bringing a pet home, they are treated like one of our children. Please feel free to ask any questions

Pros: Zoe LOVES other dogs (of all sizes), cats, and kids! She loves being pet! Cons: Not compatible with chickens. Loves to go on adventures so needs a good fence. Not leash trained. Extra: She is extremely sweet and has a lot of energy. Would do best as a family dog, not a working dog. She has had entropian surgery on both eyes. She loves to be by our side on walks throughout our property (just not on a leash). Born Feb 2023

Story
We got him as a puppy from a Walmart parking lot give away, with some sort of parasite infection on his paw. With plenty of treatment, love and care, there is only minor scarring. With our family of five moving to Arizona soon, we understand that type of environment is not safe for his breed. He loves spending time outside but also loves inside snuggles.

Story
Luna is a great family dog! She loves playing chase, fetch, and going for walks with our kids. She is great with simple commands such as sit, down, and come. She is a very sweet, submissive girl and enjoys being near her loved ones, but also does well when left alone for family day trips.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet BOLT!  Bolt is a handsome Pyr mix who is about 1-2 years old and weighs 65 lbs.  Bolt came into rescue after being taken to a shelter by a family that said he had grown to be "too big".  Bolt is a sweet guy, he loves people but he can be dog selective, he would do best as an only dog. He seems to be fine around cats.  Bolt is working on his leash skills and other basic training, he is a smart boy and is doing well.  He can get excited when meeting new people and greet them with hugs (jumping) but settles down quickly. He would love to find a forever family soon!  Bolt is currently in Texas but can be on the next NW transport.   All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: $350 Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959   Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 26, 2024, 12:27 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet SARGENT! Sarge is a playful, goofy, and loving Great Pyrenees / Lab mix. He is just under 3 years old and on the smaller side for his breed, weighing in at 65 pounds.   Sarge loves playing and roughhousing and would love to find a home with another friendly dog to show him the ropes and help get his energy out! Once acquainted, he gets along with friendly dogs of all sizes. He’s a great adventure buddy and would love an active forever home that will take him on walks and hikes. He LOVES going for his daily walks and does pretty well on a leash. He’s a very curious boy and enjoys taking his time on walks to smell the roses and observe what’s going on. He does have a prey drive and occasionally pulls when he sees rabbits or squirrels.   Once he’s gotten all of his energy out, he enjoys snoozing on the couch or in the yard with his favorite squeaky stuffed animal. He is very sweet and tender-hearted. He loves to be near his people and will often follow you from room to room. He prefers not to be in a crate and sleeps nicely on a dog bed in his foster parents’ bedroom at night.   True to his Great Pyr forebears, Sarge can be vocal and talkative at times, and he will let you know if he hasn’t had enough playtime. He likes to patrol and will alert bark to let you know someone is near the house or yard.  His expressive talking and sassy side-eye constantly make his fosters laugh.   He can be wary of strangers of all ages (both people and other animals) but warms up once he learns they’re friendly. He likes to have his personal space respected so would prefer a home with older children or adults only. Sarge is untested with cats.   Sarge does have some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where he isn’t left for long periods of time. Having another friendly dog around seems to help put him at ease. He would benefit from patient and consistent positive training to help him be his best self! He is food motivated, which is great for training. His forever home must have good fencing as he can easily climb shorter fencing.    Sargent is currently being fostered in Seattle, WA. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: $350 Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport.
