This magnificent boy has mastered the art of being both impressively large and incredibly gentle, making him the perfect example of why Pyrenees are known as gentle giants. What makes Thor truly special is his love for people and his playful spirit that shines through in everything he does. He's a social butterfly who genuinely enjoys meeting new friends and absolutely lives for attention and affection, melting into the happiest dog alive whenever he's getting love from his favorite humans. The only thing Thor is particular about is his snacks because this distinguished gentleman has developed quite refined tastes. Currently, Thor is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment with a full recovery expected, making him one of our special Diamond in the Ruff dogs. His medical needs don't slow down his loving personality one bit, and he's searching for a family who can see beyond his temporary situation and recognize the incredible gentle giant he truly is.

Story
Mac was rescued by his foster mom in Victoria, Texas. I took over ownership of Mac in September 2023. He is goofy and loyal. He likes his space but loves cuddles and pets, of course. He loves to laze around or romp outside. Unfortunately Mac has some behavioral and reactive issues. These issues need to be addressed by someone with experience and proper resources. I believe in Mac.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bolt is waiting patiently for his forever home! Bolt is a 5 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees-Catahoula leopard dog mix. Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. Bolt is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within WA and OR . All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  A note from Duke:  Hey there, I'm Duke!  A soft, loyal, slightly goofy guy looking for my forever home.  I'm happiest when I get to run, dig cozy holes to nap in, or go on sniffing adventures (my nose leads the way!).  I'm a bit of a climber too-fences don't slow me down much-so I'll need a safe, secure space to keep my exploring paws where they belong. I love food, toys, and finding the squeaker in every toy I meet.  Snacks and playtime are my two favorite things!  I also know basic commands and I'm a really good listener when you talk to me kindly-I'll even roll right over for belly rubs.  I get along great with dogs of all sizes (except one unneutered male who just rubbed me the wrong way) and I'm cat friendly too.  The truth is, I'm a gentle soul.  I get a little scared when voices are raised or there's sudden movement,  so I'd do best with someone who has a calm, patient energy. Leash walks are fun-unless there's something really interesting to smell, then I might tug a bit.  My fur is super soft, but when I get muddy (which I love), the dirt mysteriously ends up on the floor once it dries...can't imagine how that happens?!  Oh, and one more thing, I don't like the color red.  Don't ask me why, I just don't trust it.  If you've got a farm or plenty of room to roam, I'd be the happiest boy by your side.  I've got a big heart, a playful spirit, and I'm ready to love my person forever.  Love, Duke. Duke is in Snohomish and can be available within WA-OR. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 27, 2025, 9:09 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tater Tot (or Tot Tot) is a sweet, one year old Pyr-mix who had a rough start. He was part of the group taken in by the Oregon Humane Society earlier this year, so he had a lot of fear when he first went into his foster home. Since he never got to do normal dog things, he still has some puppy curiosity and things to learn. He's working on things like leash-walking, and taking car rides. His foster parents have to remind him that he's safe even out in the big world. His forever home will have to continue to have patience with him. Once he's comfortable, he's a big cuddle bug. Tater loves belly rubs and is even starting to enjoy playing with toys, getting brushed, and taking treats. He is house trained, knows "sit", and sleeps in his crate at night. Tater loves to be with his people most of the time and is also good with kids. He likes the resident dog, and also those he meets on walks. Tater would also do fine as an only dog, especially as a sidekick to someone who's working from home. Tater Tot is currently being fostered in Bend, Oregon and can be adopted within Oregon/Washington. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6.  Adoption Fee: $275 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
