Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bolt is waiting patiently for his forever home! Bolt is a 5 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees-Catahoula leopard dog mix. Bolt is a sweet and loyal companion, enjoys being in the yard when his foster mom gardens, and loves pets and attention. Bolt has a serious side, he barks when he perceives a threat (the UPS truck, mailman, etc) and a silly side, finding all sorts of random things to play with-he’d rather forage something around the house and cares less about dog toys. Bolt is super helpful around the house, he loves to help load the dishwasher, clean off the counters, and helps with the laundry by dragging clothes and towels from the laundry room outside in the rain, lol, he’s all about conservation! His new family should be sturdy as he can get spunky and want to play while doing zoomies around his people. He would love his own person/people to reciprocate his loyalty, someone who likes to relax and also find adventure. If you are looking for your “ride or die” dog, that’s Bolt, he is smart and eager to please. Bolt could get along with a female dog but would prefer to eat alone. Bolt is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within WA and OR . All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Transport Fee: none Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959   Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company.  Transport is arranged by GPPR.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 9:48 pm

Story
Meet Starburst! Starburst is a 3-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy who has come such a long way since arriving in her foster home. When she first came to us, she was very reserved and seemed like she had already been through more than a puppy should. But with a little patience, love, and the comfort of a safe home, Starburst has truly come out of her shell. These days, she is a happy, playful puppy who loves to romp around just as much as she loves to cuddle up with her people. She's especially sweet and snuggly and will happily settle in for some cuddle time after playtime. Starburst has been around young children (ages 4 and 5) and other dogs in her foster home and has done well. Like any 3-month-old puppy, she is still learning and loves to use her mouth when she plays, so having plenty of puppy-safe toys, chew toys, and a wishbone nearby is a must! She is mostly potty trained and does a great job when given regular opportunities to go outside. She may have an occasional accident when adjusting to a new environment, but she catches on quickly with a consistent routine. She is also crate trained and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. Starburst is looking for a loving family who will continue to give her the patience and love she needs as she grows. In return, you'll get a playful, affectionate, wonderfully snuggly puppy who is just waiting to become your best friend. She is being fostered in the Austin, Texas area. Can do a personal "meet and great" or zoom to meet her and ask questions.

Story
Meet this beautiful Great Pyrenees girl! 🤍 This sweet girl is searching for her loving forever home. We don’t know her exact age, but she appears to be a young dog—likely around 1 year old or even younger. She is very sweet and friendly, and she is spayed and up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. She also has a brother who is available for adoption. They would absolutely love to be adopted together if the right family comes along, but they do not have to be adopted as a pair and can go to separate homes. She would thrive with a family who understands that Great Pyrenees are large, loyal dogs who need love, patience, and space to be their best selves. She is ready to leave shelter life behind and become someone’s devoted best friend. If you think you could be the perfect match for this beautiful girl, please reach out for more information! 🤍🐾 📧 Interested in adopting? fureverfriendsandrescue@gmail.com 🌐 fureverfriendsandrescue.com 📱 Follow us on Facebook: Furever Friends and Rescue

Story
🐾 Meet Alex! 💙 Approx. 6 months old • Male Breed: Mixed Breed (Our best guess: German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix) Alex is an adorable 6-month-old puppy with a beautiful fluffy coat and the sweetest personality! ❤️ His foster says he is truly the sweetest dog and loves every person he meets. For such a young pup, Alex is incredibly smart and already has some amazing manners! He is fully potty trained and leash trained, and he doesn’t bark in the house. He loves being close to his people—he’ll follow you around the house and happily lay right next to you wherever you go. He also is learning tricks and can sit and paw🐾 We believe Alex may be a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix, but since he’s a rescue, that’s simply our best guess. He’s expected to grow into a medium-to-large sized dog. 🐾 Fully vaccinated 🐾 Fully potty trained 🐾 Leash trained 🐾 Doesn’t bark in the house 🐾 Loves everyone he meets 🐾 Very smart 🐾 Sweet, affectionate & loves being near his people Alex sounds like the kind of dog who will become your loyal little shadow and best friend. All he needs now is a family to call his own! 🏡❤️ 📧 Interested in fostering or adopting Alex? fureverfriendsandrescue@gmail.com 🌐 fureverfriendsandrescue.com 📱 Follow us on Facebook: Furever Friends and Rescue
