He likes toys and he can be playful but he also can be a couch potato! He recently finished heartworm treatment and he’s ready for his forever home!

Bugs Bunny was found at a gas station in the middle of the night by a junkyard and highway. He was skinny and had some healing wounds. He has healed up nicely and is gaining good weight. We got him vaccinated. He tested positive for heartworm, but has no other health concerns now. Bugs is very friendly and happy. He has shown no aggression towards people, dogs, or cats, and has not even had issues with resource guarding. He loves chew toys, being brushed, and playing. He is either sleepy and lazy, or a ball of energy. He has never had an accident in the house. He has learned sit and is good at “wait” and “gentle.” He does like to wander if he has an opportunity to get out of the yard, so he would need a secure outdoor area. He is a very good boy.

Meet Grover 🐾 Grover found himself in a small-town shelter where his life was on the line. Thankfully, we were able to tag him and pull him just in time before his story was cut short. Now he’s safe, thriving, and ready to find the forever home he deserves. Grover is estimated to be 2–3 years old and is already showing what an amazing companion he will be. ✨ About Grover: • Neutered on 3/11 • Heartworm NEGATIVE • Doing amazing learning house manners • Crate trained in just 2 days • Can be dog selective more towards male dogs, low key females he may warm up too with proper slow intros • Leash skills are a work in progress, but he’s learning quickly Grover has already come so far in such a short time. He’s a sweet, resilient boy who just needed someone to give him a chance. Now all he needs is a family to call his own. 🐶 Grover is adoptable! Story
Jjajang was returned twice from previous adopters. He loves his person and will be very affectionate once trust is gained. He does get along with my dogs but not neighbor dogs so it’s best he goes to a home with no other animals. I would not trust him with kids. He lives and thrives outside but has never had any potty accidents when he does occasionally come in the house during extreme weather or heat. Currently located in TX with my sister but I can also bring him up to the Chicago area where I recently moved. Would make a great guard dog but would also love attention and affection. If you’re experienced with the emotional personality of a shepherd and are willing to put work, love, and care into him, he will love you forever.
