Story
Australian Shepherd/ Lab is the closest breed we can guess on her. Sorry we don't have good photos of sweet Sally. She was in foster in Texas since a puppy! She is totally trained with playing with a playgroup of dogs several times/day. Finally her turn at about 2 years to be adopted. ! House and potty trained!!! woof woof. Affectionate sweet loving dog. She is a little shy at first, but opens up quickly. Has done great with other all other dogs even young puppies when done with proper introductions. She is with a rescue that is friends of Lufkin TX Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter friends. loving sweet sweet pup t is nearly impossible to say the breeds but her brother did have some Great Pyrenees in his DNA test. All of her siblings were adopted as puppies, its long been Sally's time to find her FOREVER home. https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ If interested we would have you speak with her rescuer. Many dogs are impossible to say the breeds but it is anyone's guess. As we know, mutts statistically speaking will live longer and have less vet bills!. All of our Lufkin Kurth Texas dogs were hand selected and are literally their favorites. Everyone who has adopted adores their dogs. She will totally win you over. , Please do apply!!! All our dogs are spay/neutered, current on DHPP and rabies shots, microchipped, tested hw negative, so all of that is done. Our adoptions include professional dog rescue transport to WA and health certificates (vet visit just prior to coming to WA). Any questions, please email us at shaynesrescue@gmail.com Best to include your phone number and good times to call too!

Story
SHOMER is a gentle, friendly dog who loves walks and car rides to the doggy park, his favorite activities. His enthusiasm for treats and food makes him very responsive and obedient, which helps strengthen bonds. While he doesn't care much for toys, he has a couple he likes; he doesn't chew on shoes or furniture. He was born on July 1st, 2023. He weighs 67 lbs and was adopted from a farm outside town, where his mom, dad, and adorable siblings were also present. He is a guardian dog; when our chickens were out and about, he was trained to watch for predators like coyotes and eagles. He does not attack livestock. I hope Shomer can find a home with acreage where he can patrol freely. He has a routine of going out at Suk and getting up before dawn. Therefore, living in an apartment isn't ideal for this breed, as they can get depressed. While he handles work or school absences well, he requires attention, interaction, and regular playtime.

Story
Lainey is around 2 years old and has just finished raising her puppies. Now that her mom duties are behind her, she is ready to enjoy a quieter chapter of her own. She is easygoing, calm, and wonderfully gentle. Lainey is happiest when she can relax near her people and is always ready for a good snuggle session. She also does well in the car and has the kind of sweet, steady personality that makes her incredibly easy to love. Lainey may genuinely be one of the nicest dogs you will ever meet, and she is looking for a family ready to give her all the comfort, affection, and companionship she deserves.

Story
Marisol was born around May 18, 2026, and is a sweet, affectionate puppy who loves being close to her people. She is happiest when she can curl up in a lap, be held, or settle in for a good snuggle. She also enjoys playing with her littermates and has done well with other dogs. Based on the markings seen throughout the litter, we suspect Marisol may be a Great Pyrenees/Heeler mix, but her breed is only our best guess. Marisol is looking for a family ready for all the normal puppy work—training, socialization, structure, and plenty of patience—as she continues growing into a wonderful companion.

McKinley was born approximately 5/18/26. He enjoys playing with his litter mates. Based on the markings of his litter mates, we are speculating that he is a mix of Pyrenees and Heeler, but that is a guess. He is a mixed breed puppy filled with love and potential for sure!

Story
Millie is a very sweet Great Pyrenees who's looking for a forever home. She has only had limited experience being inside a house, so there are many things she's not yet accustomed to, but she's a very loving girl. She has been around alpacas, but she cannot be trusted around chickens, unfortunately. Millie is up to date on vaccinations, and has not been spayed, so that's a task that her new owner would be responsible for. If you'd like more information on Millie, please contact Laura at (360) 708-0083. Thanks for looking!

Story
Baylee is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish her as a family member. She is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want her transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Baylee can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life. In the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Baylee is never without a safety net; she will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until her perfect home is found. Meet Baylee! Age: 5 Months Weight: 35 lbs (Current weight as of July 19 Estimated adult weight: 6095 lbs) Breed Mix: DNA Verified! 51% Great Pyrenees, 33% Labrador Retriever, 5% Komondor, 3% Great Dane, & 3% Anatolian Shepherd Why We Love Baylee If you have a soft spot for gentle giants in the making, Baylee will melt your heart! With a wonderful DNA blend of giant, devoted, and loyal breeds, this sweet girl is going to mature into a stunning and devoted companion. Baylee is a very timid, shy soul who takes a little extra time to trust new surroundings. She isn't a bold, pushy puppy—she is a quiet, gentle girl who just needs a calm, patient, and loving home willing to go at her pace. Watching a shy dog bloom into a confident, loving companion is one of the most rewarding experiences in the world, and Baylee has so much love to give once she feels safe. One thing that helps her feel right at home is other pups! She absolutely adores other dogs, and having a confident canine brother or sister to show her the ropes would do wonders for helping her step out of her shell. She is young enough that she could be taught how to interact with cats and children. Since she's timid, if there are children in the home, we suggest older kids, maybe 5+. Home Manners & Training Baylee is already crate trained and appreciates having her secure, comfortable space to unwind. As she is still learning the puppy basics, she will need a family ready to guide her through house training and gently introduce her to leash walking. Her mix of noble guardian and working breeds means she is naturally intuitive, loyal, and smart. With steady routines, positive encouragement, and lots of reassurance, Baylee will learn that the world isn't so scary after all. Are you Baylee's perfect match? If you have a quiet, patient heart and room in your home for a big, soft-hearted pup who will reward your devotion tenfold, Baylee is waiting for you! Video of Baylee on July 7: https://youtube.com/shorts/Ovaw5Q8fHDA?is=DkfMxRl3G3-_YXSH Her adoption includes: Fully Vetted: Baylee is already spayed and up-to-date on all her essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPPx3, and Bordetella). Prevention: She has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Safety First: To ensure she is in tip-top shape for her new family, she will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate. All performed within 10 days of her transport date. Adoption Details Baylee's adoption fee is $1,200.
