Story

Clover has been our family dog since we got her from a breeder at 8 weeks old. She loves attention, cuddles, and room to move. She is house trained, leash trained, and loves spending time outside. She is great around kids but sometimes is not aware of her size (98lbs). She is food-motivated (not food-aggressive). She potentially has an allergy to chicken but have not confirmed the cause of some recurrent ear infections (have been treated). She is spayed and current on vaccinations. Clover would thrive where there is another dog she can play with. Like all Pyrenees, she loves to bark, dig, and roam. A fenced in area or four legged friends to keep her near would be best. We now have a 2 year old daughter, another baby on the way, and we’re relocating to Indiana within the next two months. Clover has a big heart and we will be sad to see her go, but we can’t give her the attention she deserves amid the relocation and growing family.

True to his breed, also known as a Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Cloud has a gentle and cozy exterior with a strong and protective inner nature. He’s not just calm and friendly—his gentleness comes from a deep-rooted confidence, as he believes in protecting those around him. Cloud has a sweet, peaceful personality, but don’t let that fool you. Beneath his calm demeanor, he has a firm sense of responsibility and determination to protect his surroundings. Though he’s a bit shy, you’ll quickly sense his trust and strength. Cloud is a high-energy dog, so he would thrive in a home with a large yard. He loves being active, playing, and running around. Daily outdoor activity is essential to keep him happy and healthy. He’s playful and enjoys both eating and having fun, showcasing his cheerful and innocent side. Despite his past, where he was abandoned at a shelter, Cloud is quick to warm up to new people. While he hasn't had much basic training yet, Cloud is highly intelligent, and positive reinforcement, such as treats, helps him learn quickly. He may pull on the leash during walks out of curiosity, but he’s improving with practice and guidance. Cloud is also great with other dogs, including smaller ones. He’s big in size but still exhibits the endearing behaviors of a puppy, which make him even more lovable. Cloud would be best suited for someone who understands the Great Pyrenees breed or enjoys large dogs and is looking for a companion to enjoy daily outdoor activities with. Rescue Story * Yeoreum is one of the dogs that the Adogs team rescued from a dogslaughter farm in 2022. Spending a long time there, she was about to be put down, but Adogs was able to rescue her just in the nick of time. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Has a calm and timid personality and is slow to adapt to new environments. When strangers approach her, she tends to avoid them and leaves the area. Previously, she had to be cornered for touching to be possible, but has recently become more comfortable with pets. Still, she doesn’t stay still and tries to get away if strangers pick her up. She also runs away from familiar people, but she can be leashed and touched when cornered. You accepts treats if you drop it on the ground. * With Dogs: If a new dog approaches too closely or annoys her, she growls to express her displeasure. Prefers to nap indoors rather than play outside with other dogs. * With Cats: Shows no reaction to cats she encounters during walks and focuses on the person walking with her. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed yet since she lives communally with other dogs at our center. Rudy is a neutered male livestock guardian dog. He has been raised around my children on my farm. He has been around goats, cows, horses and pigs. He is not good with cats and cannot be unsupervised around chickens. We have taken him camping, on trails, good on a leash. He is Alpha and I do not recommend other dogs in the home. He is a good boy but does not get along with Dad so it’s not a good fit anymore and that is the only reason I need to rehome him. He is up to date on shots and vet care.
