Story
Scout is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. He is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Scout can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life, in the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Scout is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found. About Scout Scout is a typical 6-month-old puppy (August 5) who is ready to find his perfect forever family! Believed to be a wonderful mix of Great Pyrenees and Australian Shepherd, he is currently a handsome 20-pound package of pure puppy joy. Personality: A typical, happy pup who absolutely loves people. Because he is so young, it can be safely assumed that he will do great with children. Other Animals: Scout is fantastic with other dogs! He tends to be the "rough and tumble" one of the group, but he always plays well with others and is great at socializing. Can be tested with cats upon request. Training & House Skills: He is already doing okay in his crate. While he hasn't had any official training on a leash or with housebreaking just yet, he is a smart boy who should learn the ropes quickly with a consistent routine. He'll just need a patient family ready to guide him through his puppy milestones! Video of Scout from August 5: https://youtube.com/shorts/eDge66eDVr0?feature=share His adoption includes: Fully Vetted: Scout is already neutered and up-to-date on all his essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPPx3, and Bordetella). Prevention: He has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Safety First: To ensure he is in tip-top shape for his new family, he will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificateall performed within 10 days of his transport date. Adoption Details Scouts adoption fee is $1,200. This fee is all-inclusive, covering his neuter, all veterinary care listed above, and his seat on a professional transport service dedicated to getting him safely to your area. Maggie is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish her as a family member. She is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want her transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Maggie can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life. In the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Maggie is never without a safety net; she will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until her perfect home is found. Meet Maggie! Age: 2 1/2 years old (as of September 22) Gender: Female Breed Mix: Possible Great Pyrenees & Australian Cattle Dog Mix Weight: 117 lbs (a big, beautiful girl who is a bit overweight and working on losing a few pounds!). She is TALL! Maggie is a gentle giant with a heart of pure gold! If you are looking for a devoted companion who lives for affection, Maggie is your girl. Personality & Highlights: An Absolute Love Bug: Maggie’s favorite thing in the entire world is to be snuggled, petted, and loved. She loves belly rubs and is a master of the "Pyrenees lean"—demanding affection by leaning allll 117 pounds of her sweet self right into you! She also knows how to shake and will proudly offer you her paw without you even asking! Good with Respectful Dogs: Maggie does well with other dogs who have good manners, understand social cues, and respect personal space. She prefers canine friends who don't get right up in her face or push her boundaries. Great Travel Buddy: Maggie rides wonderfully in the car, making her a fantastic partner for road trips or errands around town! House-Trained: She is housebroken and ready for comfortable indoor living with her forever family. Training & Walk Needs: Leash Manners: Because of her size and strength, Maggie is currently a bit of a challenge to walk on a leash and will require a physically strong handler who can comfortably guide her as she continues working on her leash skills. Maggie is a sweet, affectionate soul who just wants to shower her humans with love. If you're ready for giant snuggles and endless devotion, Maggie can't wait to meet you! -She came into our rescue as a found stray and was kept outside. She liked to play/chase the family's cows, so she wasn't a good fit on their farm. -Finder said she does fine with cats and since she was outside the entire time, they think she would be fine as an indoor dog and going outside to potty. -She was adopted for a year then she came back to the rescue, no fault of her own. -Video of Maggie from September 19: https://youtube.com/shorts/AiRY8VsyA7s?is=Q4e8LeWh3KHRao7Y Fully Vetted: Maggie is already spayed and up-to-date on all her essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella). Meet Opal 💎🐾 **PLEASE NOTE:** We are a Texas-based rescue. Opal is currently in Texas and will be transported to her new home once adopted. Our application can be found at **haydudeequine.org**. Hi! I’m **Opal**, and I’m pretty sure my superpower is making everyone I meet fall completely in love with me. 💕 I’m an 18-month-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees/Lab/Staffy mix, and I’m the perfect combination of sweet, playful, loving, and just a little bit goofy. I’m a very happy girl with a docile personality and plenty of playful energy. I absolutely **LOVE to snuggle** and will happily curl up next to you for belly rubs or a good scratch on the side of my neck. And if you hear a mysterious little chainsaw sound coming from the couch at night… don’t worry, it’s just me **snoring like I pay the mortgage.** 😂 I love my toys—especially squeakers—and I’m a big fan of chewing on a good bone. But honestly, my favorite thing in the world is being with my people. I love **everyone and everything I've ever met** and have never met a stranger I didn't want to be friends with. I’m wonderful with other dogs and would love a home with another playful pup who can be my partner in crime. I haven't had much experience with cats or kids yet, but with my sweet, easygoing personality, my humans think I'd probably be fantastic with both. I'm looking for a family who wants a loving, playful, 55-pound cuddlebug who will happily join in on adventures and then snuggle up beside you afterward. If you're looking for a dog with a **heart as big as her smile**, I think we should meet. I promise to bring lots of love, laughs, squeaky-toy chaos, and probably a little snoring into your life. ❤️ **Apply to adopt Opal at haydudeequine.org and let this sweet girl snuggle her way into your heart!** 🐶💗

PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org. ### Meet Jackie! 🤍🐾 If you’ve ever dreamed of having a gentle giant by your side, let us introduce you to Jackie! Jackie is a gorgeous 3-year-old Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix weighing in at **88 pounds of pure sweetness**. While she has some Golden in her, Jackie definitely takes after her Great Pyrenees side—she’s calm, confident, independent, and has that classic Pyr personality. Jackie absolutely **loves people** and is wonderful when meeting new friends. She has a gentle, easygoing nature and would happily spend her days hanging out with her humans and soaking up all the attention. She also has a fun side and enjoys the water, so a little splash time is always a bonus! Now, Jackie does have one thing she’d like to make very clear: **she’s the boss.** 😂 She knows what she wants and isn’t shy about letting the other dogs know it. Because of that, she would do best with another dog who has a more submissive, easygoing personality and isn't looking to challenge her for the executive position. Jackie is the kind of dog who makes an impression—not just because she’s a big, beautiful 88-pound girl, but because she has such a sweet and gentle soul. She loves her people, welcomes new friends, and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a big-hearted best friend. If you’re looking for a **gentle giant with a little “I’m in charge here” attitude**, Jackie may be your girl! 🤍🐾

Story
Animal Profile: Louie is an estimated 7-year-old, 65 lb neutered male Great Pyrenees Australian Cattle Dog mix who hails originally from Texas. Louie is a stunning boy with a coat that is just as soft as it looks, and the most adorable ears! He is a veritable porch dog who enjoys the company of his family and lounging around wherever his people are. Louie is house trained, crate trained, knows commands, and has no separation anxiety. True to his breeds, he is loyal and loving with his family but discerning of new people and animals. Louie gets along with other dogs off leash and -- with professional training -- now walks nicely on leash and listens to commands. Louie has lived with cats but does have some chase instinct on walks toward small animals so a dog-savvy cat and mindful introductions to cats in the home would be needed. Louie enjoys companionship, belly rubs and short walks -- his energy level is more Pyr than Cattle Dog and he will do OK with low to moderate exercise. Louie will do best with an owner who has strong leadership skills and an understanding of his breed mix to set him up for success.   Adopter Profile:  Single family residence required Fenced yard required Older dog savvy children considered Other balanced dogs / dog-savvy cats OK Guardian breed experience preferred Adoption Info: Louie will be adopted in partnership with STIC K9 Collective, and his adoption will be on a one-month trial basis with a take home training session and 30-day training session included. Trial adoption includes a $250 deposit which is refundable if it is not a good match, provided training appointments are completed. Louie's total adoption fee of $400 includes his neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip with lifetime registration, and full training. He has also recently had a senior blood panel and health exam and is in excellent health. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: Louie was transferred from TX to WA via Paco's Rescue in 2021 and adopted but unfortunately were not able to take him back when his adopters were relocating to Europe. Louie was placed in a poorly matched home and made his way to Dog Gone Seattle in June 2026. He is currently being fostered with Dog B Good in Federal Way and available for adoption. Please email jenny@doggoneseattle.org with questions. October 7, 2026, 3:55 pm
