Story
Henry is about a year old and he is the best boy. He looks like a small great pyrenees but also like an all white border collie. His build and energy is definitely more border collie like. He looooves to play with other dogs and run and play in the water. He is outgoing and confident and very smart. He is also great with cats. He would do really well in active household that enjoys outdoor activities or on a farm where he gets to help with daily chores. Another playful dog in the home would be a bonus. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Ilya is a Great Pyrenees mix puppy and a proud member of our Heated Rivalry group who made his way to us from Ozarks Pet Rescue. This sweet boy is going to be a BIG dog, so he’s looking for a family that’s ready to embrace all the love (and fluff) that comes with a large-breed pup! Ilya will thrive in a home committed to continuing his basic training and socialization so he can grow into a confident, well-mannered adult. As a Pyrenees mix, his gorgeous coat will need regular grooming and maintenance, so his future family should be prepared to keep him looking and feeling his best. He’s a gentle, affectionate guy who is already working on crate training and making great progress. Ilya does well with other dogs, kids, and even cats, making him a wonderful candidate for a variety of loving homes. If you’re ready for a loyal companion, a little extra fur, and a whole lot of heart, Ilya might just be your perfect match. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
