Tucker is a handsome 5 year old Greyhound mix with a big heart and even bigger energy! This playful boy lives for running and romping around outside it is his absolute favorite thing to do! Tucker can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he is all tail wags and kisses. He is done great with kids of all ages and enjoys being part of the action. He gets along well with other dogs, but cats are not his cup of tea. He sleeps in his crate at night like a champ and is fully potty trained. Super smart and eager to please, Tucker learns quickly and is always up for a fun challenge. Just a heads up food with red dye does not sit well with his tummy, so he does best on a simple diet. Tucker can be protective when strangers visit the home, but with proper introductions, he settles in. He is an energetic, outgoing guy who would thrive with an active family and a yard to zoom around in. If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion with a zest for life, Tucker might just be your perfect match! Dakota is a loving 9-yr-old dog searching for a calm home where she can finally be the center of attention. She’s healthy, fully up to date on shots, and just had her teeth professionally vet cleaned. Dakota has only lived with two families, my brother and ours, and while she’s always been loved, she struggles in busy homes with other pets or young children. When she feels ignored or stressed, she may pee to express her anxiety, and despite our efforts, she isn’t thriving here. Dakota would do best as the only dog in a quiet, stable home with adults or older kids who can give her steady companionship. She’s affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she can be near her person. If you’re looking for a sweet, mature dog who wants nothing more than to be someone’s whole world, Dakota may be the perfect match.

ADOPTION PENDING--Simone arrived from Ireland on Oct. 8th. She has been chosen for the Greyhound Advancement Center's prison training program. When she graduates in December, Simone will know all of her basic commands. She is a gentle and sweet girl and has calmness and poise Simone is somewhat shy, but if you are quiet around her, she does fine. She is reserved but not nervous or anxious, and already walks well on a leash. She is only 56 lbs., so is a small greyhound. Simone gets along well with other dogs, especially other greyhounds. She is happiest lying on her bed rather than playing. She takes retirement seriously and her devotion to the lounge is truly admirable! Her ideal home would be a quiet one filled with company, love, treats (of course) and many places to snooze. ADOPTION PENDING-Lizzie arrived from Ireland on December 3rd. She has been retired for some time, but her owner had to move and could not bring Lizzie along. Her registered name is Miss Elizabeth. She is great in every way. She likes to collect everything she can get into her bed (toys, pillows, blankets, etc.) If you are missing something from around the house, Lizzie has probably confiscated it. Lizzie gets along well with other dogs and would be good in just about any environment. She is sweet, quiet, and is great in the house. she only barks if she hears something outside. Lizzie has been chosen for the Greyhound Advancement Center's prison training program, so when she graduates around the end of January, she will know all of her basic commands. During his racing career, he competed in 23 races and won 4 times. His registered name is Scampie Barry. He has been chosen for the Greyhound Advancement Center's prison training program, so he will know all of his basic commands when he graduates around the end of January.
