Meet Seabiscuit — the gentle soul with a heart full of love. This sweet girl might start off a little shy, but give her a moment and she’ll show you just how deeply she bonds with her people. Once she knows you’re her friend, she’ll lean right into your love… and possibly right into your lap. (Yes, she’s fully convinced she’s a lap dog, and honestly, it’s adorable.) Seabiscuit walks beautifully on a leash and is always happy to earn a tasty treat or two — it’s the quickest way to see her tail wag. She’s a big fan of comfort, too. Give her a cozy bed or a soft blanket and she’ll curl up like she’s found her own little slice of heaven. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is perfectly nice around cats as well. And while we believe she’s partially housebroken, she’s eager to learn and is already well on her way to being a pro. More than anything, Seabiscuit wants a family of her own — someone patient, kind, and ready to love her as much as she’ll love them. If you’re looking for a tender-hearted companion who will blossom under your care, Seabiscuit might just be your perfect match. Come meet her and see how quickly she steals your heart. 🧡🐾

Story
Meet DJ! DJ is a handsome 3-year-old Greyhound/Lab mix with long legs, a lean 50-lb frame, and the sweetest personality. He’s the most laid-back of his siblings and loves nothing more than being right by your side. DJ is playful, food-motivated, and enjoys his toys (though sheets and tents don’t always stand a chance ). He does wonderfully with kids and cats, but would do best as the only male dog in the home. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped. and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250.  DJ’s story is extra special. His mom was rescued from an abuse situation by animal control and gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies while in the pound. Thankfully, the whole family was brought to safety with the rescue, and now DJ is ready for a forever home of his own.
