Story
Ginger is the kind of dog who fits into your life instead of taking it over. Calm at home, ready to explore when you are—she gives you the best of both worlds. Ginger is a 40 lb female greyhound mix with a quiet, easygoing personality. She’s affectionate but not needy, happy to be near you without constantly demanding attention. She’s the type of dog who can relax on the couch after a long day but is just as happy joining you on weekend adventures—hikes, road trips, lakes, or just getting out and exploring. She has a naturally balanced energy. Not hyper, not lazy—just easy to live with. Whether you want a peaceful companion at home or a steady partner on the trail, Ginger adjusts right along with you. Good fit: someone who wants a calm, low-drama dog who can also enjoy occasional adventures without being high maintenance. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Take a look at this doe eyed sweetheart that comes to us looking for love. Her eyes tell the story of what her heart as yet to have and that is a forever home filled with unconditional love and attention. Scarlett is a girl that wants to have her heart smile every day. She knows that she is on the road to her happily forever after. She is 9 months old and she comes into rescue with her sister. They are both greyhound mixes with unknown pasts but with exciting futures ahead of them. Scarlett is around 28 pounds, and she should not get much bigger in the coming months. Our best estimate is that she will fall into the medium category of anywhere up 60 pounds when fully grown. Friends are a great addition to life of great expectations and Scarlett will find great fun in interacting with other dogs and children. She has not had the opportunity to meet cats prior to rescue. She wants nothing more than to become the whole world to her family. All of her house, crate and leash training are in progress. Her world will open up to new surroundings, experiences and exploration. Her family will indulge in having a wonderful canine companion as part of the family. Let Scarlett start her happily ever after in your heart. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Scarlett is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. Buzz is a very affectionate and playful guy. He quickly learned his place in the pack at his foster home and likes to run and play outside with the resident greys in his foster home. He's an eager eater, loves treats, and a good walker on leash. He did well with a small dog, watched closely by his foster family. Buzz loves to play with stuffed animals and doesn't destroy them.

Story
Josh is a very sweet 4 year old boy who loves getting pets, giving kisses, and leaning in for a good cuddle! He's a smart and food motivated who has already learned to shake and is eager to learn other tricks. After a walk or after getting up from a nap, he likes to play a bit fetch with a stuffed animal and be a bit of a goofball. He has liked having another greyhound around to show him the ropes and has loved meeting other people and a few other dogs as well! He walks well on leash, has mastered the stairs, and while interested in smaller dogs and animals, has not tried to chase anything. He can get slightly overwhelmed by new environments, but after getting comfortable, he's excited to explore. He seems to be cat workable. Josh is a slightly goofy, very lovable boy who will make a great addition to a new family!

Story
Bow is 4 years old. He loves chin scratches, food, and his toys (especially the cuddlepillar). He's good on leash, loves hikes and walks, and never met a stranger. Quick learner and has liked every treat his foster family has offered so far. He does well with his foster families' dogs but is not interested in playing. Bow would love a home where he can cuddle on the couch, get lots of outside time, and explore new types of treats. It is unknown how Bow would do with cats.
