This 1-year-old 50ish lb Greyhound/Catahoula mix (best guess) is a perfect combo of fun-loving energy and melt-your-heart sweetness. She’s the type of girl who will chase a ball like she’s training for the Fetch Olympics, then flop dramatically across your lap like she hasn’t played in decades. Maggie is friendly, social, and absolutely adores people and other dogs — she’s the life of the party AND the cuddle session. Kids? She loves them too! Cats? Still a mystery, but she’s young enough that with a proper intro, things could go just fine. 🏆 Maggie’s Special Skills Include: • Being the first one to the door when adventure calls • Wiggling so hard her whole body participates • Making new dog friends everywhere she goes • Believing fetch is a legally binding contract • Switching from turbo mode to snuggle mode in 0.2 seconds • Giving big, soulful “love me forever” eyes She’s kennel trained, housebroken, and ready to slide right into your family’s routine without missing a beat. Smokee joined the ALP team on June 24, 2025. This handsome black boy is very playful and loves everyone he meets. He weighs 62 pounds. He is particularly fond of toys and balls and is good meeting other dogs. He has a zest for life and is very curious about everything he sees. He will make a wonderful pet. He is 4 1/2 years old. Crackerjack is a retired field trial racing greyhound who joined the American Lurcher Project on May 30. Crackerjack, aka Jack, is 6 years old and was born 10/18/2018. His weight coming into the Pet Center was 53.1 and he is expected to gain about five or six pounds. This very handsome brindle guy is a tail wagging boy who loves loves people. He is currently boarding at the Celina Pet Center. Crackerjack will need a fenced in yard so he can run and get his sunbathing in. No kitties or small dogs for this handsome boy. His weight coming into the Pet Center was 54.8 pounds. Magic is full of fluffy hair that is very soft. He is very friendly and a fun loving boy who loves running in the grass. This boy is magical and will steel your heart. Magic will need a fenced in yard to run and play. He is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines.
